C. Doc Infotech (IT Division of C. Doctor India Pvt. Ltd.)

This division specializes in the business process software, which includes ERP for medium and small sized manufacturing companies. In addition to this, it handles customized software development in its offshore office in India. The company has undertaken major CADD projects and engineering outsourcing jobs for Italy, USA and UK based companies.

C B Doctor Ventilators Pvt. Ltd.

Being a joint-venture between C. Doctor India Pvt. Ltd., Industrie CBI, Italy and Ventmeca, France, this company is involved in supplying fans across the Indian Subcontinent, China, the Middle East and South East Asia markets. It has gained acknowledgment as a leading manufacturer of industrial fans and blowers, due to its high capacity, which exceeds 2,000,000 CMH. These products are supplied to industries like steel, nuclear, power, cement, fertilizer, textile, chemicals, roads and railways, shipbuilding and HVAC.

Mehta Machinery Manufacturers Pvt. Ltd.

This company manufactures textile air engineering products and spares such as fiber compactors, overhead traveling cleaners, rotary air filters, L type and E type humidifiers, pneumacol flutes and pneumacol filter box. These products are duly exported to Bangladesh, Italy and Indonesia.

Founded by two brothers, 'Mr. Chinubhai L. Mehta' and 'Mr. Vadibhai L Mehta', our company has flourished in its operations in different parts of the globe. Mr. V. L. Mehta, an ardent follower of Mahatma Gandhi, was looked as a prominent figure in Gujarat, during and after Indian independence. He believed in the philosophy of Trusteeship and has also written a book titled - 'Equality through Trusteeship'. This trusteeship philosophy has always reflected in all our business activities.

Our founders initially started a starch factory and textile mills and later on their business acumen allowed them to expand their property. To fill up the gap of a marketing organization, they started C. Doctor & Co. Pvt. Ltd. in the year 1915. Furthermore, in the 1940s, we developed tie-ups with Bahnson, USA for distribution and marketing of its humidifiers in India.

A separate manufacturing unit that was named C. Doctor India Pvt. Ltd. (Formerly Industrial Machinery Manufacturers Pvt. Ltd.) was established in the late 1950s. Later on, this company entered into a technical collaboration with Bahnson, USA for manufacturing diverse range of humidification equipment.

C. Doctor & Co. Pvt. Ltd. was then taken over by Mr. S. V. Mehta, son of Mr. V. L. Mehta after a split in the family in the 1980s. Earlier, he was preceding the starch business into a leadership position in India and now, he is handling the sole fledgling engineering business operations. Leveraging on the values and visions of his father, he took C. Doctor India Pvt. Ltd. in different alliances with Air Technology Inc., USA, during 1980-85 for industrial fans, Hi-Vac, USA for bulk heavy duty vacuum cleaners, Sturtevant Engineering Company UK for industrial vacuum cleaners and pneumatic conveying systems, Karl Fischer GmbH, Germany for driers and Ishigaki Mechanical Industry Company Ltd., Japan for rotary drum vacuum filters.

During the late 70s & 80s, we started undertaking numerous turnkey projects that basically involved our own factory products. But, now the company has grown as a giant turnkey service provider, which can undertake projects of all kinds with or without our products.

In the 21^st century, we have been focusing on specialized factory products like heat exchangers, industrial vacuum cleaners, industrial fans and blowers. Besides, in 2008, C B Doctor Ventilators was established for manufacturing superior quality industrial blowers & fans by using the modern technology from Ventmeca, France and Industrie CBI, Italy. On the other hand, C. Doctor India focused on designing all kinds of industrial vacuum cleaning systems and heat exchangers.
