LDPE (low density polyethylene) is polyethylene with a density. It is also called high-pressure polyethylene bacause LDPE is produced from ethylene processed using high pressure technology.

LDPE has excellent processability, optical properties and impact resistance to be widely used for many applications such as films for agricultural and industrial use, extrusion coated packaging materials, injection molded products, foamed products, and blow molded products.
