• Model 58 K consists of 3 major components
 
1) Chamber
2) Float
3) Indicator Roller Assembly
 
The chamber when installed will fill through the process connections to a level equal to that of the vessel on which it is mounted. The chamber may be constructed of a variety of non-magnetic materials and having process connections compatible to those welded on the vessel.

The Float, is located within the chamber and is specially engineered to a precise Size and weight to provide an accurate level reading. Inside the float a specially Designed magnet generates a strong uniform magnetic current.

The Indicator Roller Assembly mounted externally to the chamber and contains a series of bi-coloured rollers each with an integral magnet, that flip when acted upon by the magnetic force generated by the magnet assembly in the float. Thus the indication rollers magnetically interlock with each other and so are kept in a stable position. The float responds to changes in the liquid level and the indicator roller assembly will mirror the changes thereby providing a precise liquid level measurement.

Applications
Wipers of this model are built into the sight glasses to prevent crystallization of the media inside the vessel and to hold the sight glass free of dirt and dust. While the mechanical wetted parts are SS 316 the wiper is made from PTFE.

Introduction:
The SWI wiper series by its fundamental design is limited in its application as the wiper assembly operating pressure is specified at 6 bar. The SWE covers a wider spectrum of pressure

Applications:

Wipers of this model are used for the cleaning of the inner side of sight glasses built into pressure or vacuum vessels. They may be operated in hazardous as well as safe area. They fit by means of pressure and vacuum tight glands through the base flange and the cover plate.

Materials:
Wiper Blade : PTFE / Silicon Rubber
Mechanical Parts: Stainless Steel
Glass: Toughened Sodalime / Toughened Borosilicate

Operating Conditions:
 
1) Max Pressure 16 bar. However the assembly rating will be dependent on the glass size.
2) Suitable for vacuum applications.
3) Max Temperature: 180 deg C with silicon wiper and 210 deg C with PTFE wiper.

Special Versions:
Manipulation by a knob in lieu of the standard handling arm available on request.

Recommended Combination:

• Use with Model CV spraying device for best results.
