Industrial Strainers

When unwanted solid material has to be removed from flowing liquids in order to protect equipment, C-TRUs "FLOCLEAN" range of strainers is the answer. Not only does the strainer protect equipment, it improves productivity by reducing maintenance and down time.

While C-TRU does offer a comprehensive line of cast strainers, sometimes, because of space limitations, the need for a special alloy, unique piping connection, cover operating system or size, a custom strainer is required. In such cases a cast strainer will just not work because often it is not easy or possible to modify the cast metal unit.
C-TRU solves these application problems by fabricating pipeline strainers to meet the requirements of any straining application.

Fabricated Basket Strainers are manufactured one at a time and are made to fit the exact requirements of the application. You never have to pay for more strainer than you need or settle for a strainer that will not quite do the job you want it to do.

Designed to provide inexpensive protection to expensive pumps, meters, valves and other mechanical equipment from dirt, scale, weld slag and other foreign matter during start up. As the name implies Model 22 Basket; Model 23 Conical; and Model 24 Perforated plate strainers are temporary that we recommend to remove from the pipe line after initial start up.

Mesh lined strainers manufactured for unidirectional flow cannot be used for bidirectional flow. Please specify bidirectional flow during RFQ
