This is an important tool in evaluation of surface cleanliness or degree surface preparation before painting.
To start with the measurement, the gauge is first set to zero with a glass zero plate. Once the needle touches the glass plate, the foot is placed on the blasted profile. The foot rests on top of the peaks and the sharp stylus reaches to the bottom of the valley. It allows the gauge to display the peak to valley height. It helps in making a number of measurements along with the average.
Moreover, the gauge is also useful in measuring the effects of corrosion, i.e. pitting and cavity depth. We supply these in carrying case with glass zero plate.

The effect of many coatings gets failed due to the presence of salts like chlorides and salts that contaminate the surface before the coating application. Due to their significance, these salts are recommended by the prominent users of marine vessels, offshore, pipe coating, oil & gas and steel structures among others. It is convenient and fast to perform bresle test at site, shop and other locations by using the bresle test kit. Working:

Bresle patch is attached to the surface -
Distilled water is injected into the bresle patch with a syringe and then extracted -
This process is repeated ten cycles of injecting -
Extracting the liquid in the bresle patch. -
This liquid is then measured with the conductivity meter -
It will measure the quantity of salts in both mg/m2 and µg/cm2 (ppm) -
It is provided with a user manual to give easy conversions.
These products also comply with ISO 8502-9, which is associated with the conductometric determination of soluble salts.

Testing Process As Easy As 1 - 2 - 3!
1. Empty the entire contents of the CHLOR*EXTRACT™ container into the CHLOR*SLEEVE™. Peel off the protective backing, pinch the sleeve to expel some of the air and adhere the sleeve to the surface to be tested.
2. Massage the extract against the surface; then peel the sleeve off the surface and place it in the perforated hole in the box lid.
3. Snap the sealed ends off the glass tube, insert it into the sleeve and down into the extract. In about two minutes read the color change to identify the chloride level in both parts per million and micro grams per centimeter squared, the ratio is 1:1 Recommend CHLOR*TEST
