In order to fully integrate the design, engineering and manufacturing operations of the Group, the same strategy is applied to the five Italian plants ( Lumezzane, Polpenazze, Campress, Fab and Plastibenaco), which use the same production and control processes based on the same software (SAP). The manufacturing process is vertically integrated and all major operations are carried out internally.

Design

The technical department deals with the designing and realization phase of all what is subsequently machined inside the plant, both for mechanical and for electronical components.


Test

The Technical Department is supported by a laboratory for the development of new products and to monitor and test the performance of existing components. The laboratory also undertakes testing for specific applications and offers technical solutions for individual customer needs. Soundproof surface of Laboratory: 300 sqm.
Air conditioning equipment: freezer down to -25°C,
furnace at forced air up to 300°C,two climatic chambers with fields going from -40°C to +180°C with humidity which can be set between 5 and 95%.
Equipment for explosion and mechanical resistance tests with pulsing pressure up to 400 bar.
ATS machine to test oil-plastic compatibility.

Besides the plants in Italy, we have branch offices abroad with a proper production unit and the mainly commercial branches in 19 countries: USA, China, Russian Federation, Ukraine, Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, Iran, United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Colombia, Malaysia, India, Denmark, Byelorussia and Mexico.

History

The Founders

 

It was in 1964 when the three brothers Attilio, Luigi and Geromino started manufacturing components for industrial automation in Lumezzane, a small village in the Lombardy region of northern Italy.

 

Today, the Camozzi family continues to lead the Group with a respect for tradition that has been constant throughout our history. Our values and principles are our most important legacy for guiding our future generations.

Our Infrastructure is backed by advanced machines and unit, which is segmented in various subdivisions for manufacturing and supplying of Automation Applications like Pneumatic Cylinders and Filter. Quality Policy

Being a quality conscious organization, our endeavor is to produce excellent quality Automation Applications like Pneumatic Cylinders and Filter to our clients. Our quality inspectors test the products on various quality parameters using advanced testing equipment and latest technology. Further, to minimize the consumption of energy, water, raw material and the production of waste, and focus on recycling wherever possible.

  • In 1994 Camozzi obtained from Det Norske Veritas the certification for the Quality Management Systems regarding UNI EN ISO 9001:2000.

  • In 2003 obtained the certifications for the Quality Management Systems regarding UNI EN ISO 9001:2000

  • UNI EN ISO 14001:1196from the Environmental Management System as.

  • In May 2006, "Det Norske Veritas" release new certificates UNI EN ISO 14001: 2004.

  • In 2009, "Det Norske Veritas" release new certificates UNI EN ISO 9001: 2008 confirming also the certification UNI EN ISO 14001: 2004.

  • Our main goals are to provide quality, safety, protection of the environment and compatibility of our activities with the territorial context in which they are performed.
