Dissolution Tester 6 Station |
Item Code: DR-6 The Dissolution Tester 6 Station Model DR-6 offered by us is an advanced system that assures great performance and accuracy of results. The design of this system reduces clutter, maximizing visibility and access in the critical sampling area above the water bath. Extra emphasis is given on various aspects that effect eccentricity, alignment and centering in order to reduce the number of the procedures to validate the machine. It has an in-built tablet dispenser, which ensures the dropping of the test samples into their respective test vessels without lifting up the stirrer unit.
The system has electronic speed control, which is provided with a micro-controller based stepper motor drive that ensures high accuracy of ±2% and higher, by automatically checking up and balancing for any drift from the preset speed twice every second.

In DR-6/8/14, the bath temperature and circulation is controlled to set value with the aid of a heating chamber and a pump respectively, which means that the unit can be rapidly removed for maintenance without compromising the operation of the whole tester. The heater controller/circulation has an accuracy of better than ±0.2 C, thus, ensuring a constant and even distribution of heat throughout the bath.
The bath temperature can easily be continually monitored using the PT 100 temperature probe provided in the system. An external probe is also built-in to observe the temperature inside the test vessel. An optional provision is available for logging the actual speed, temperature and deviation with the set values, at user programmed intervals throughout the test for subsequent printing. The control is provided by a membrane keypad linked to 20X4 LCD yellow backlit LC Display. Thins along with the modular type electronics makes the instrument easy to operate and service. Existing testers are sometimes too cumbersome to operate due to overloaded of complex and unnecessary software gimmickry for day-to-day use. Hence, we have given prime importance to the usability and design of the system, to ensure that number of actions necessary to perform a test was kept to minimum. For various uses in R&D domain, we have incorporated two test types: single step disso and multi step disso.
The multi step disso allows the operator to set the number of steps, required for the test along with RPM and time duration. During the test, the display shows various information such as date, time, cycle number (step number), actual RPM, temperature (set, bath and external) and elapsed test time. An alarm alerts the user on completion of each step as well as end of the test. The DR-series system has also been provided with an optional parallel printer connection for printing the validation report, which comprises the date and time of the test started and end of the test, method used, serial no. of the instrument, date of validation together with the speed and temperature actual and set values at operator selectable time intervals during the test. |
