Plain plug pin gauges are manufactured in steel and tungsten carbide. Tungstencarbide pins are made from 0.8 mm to 16 mm diameter in sets with increments of 0.001 mm, 0.01 mm, 0.02 mm, 0.1 mm, 0.5 mm etc. pins are supplied loose, with knobs or in plastic containers. A collet type twin-head anodized handle can be supplied for flexible handling of pins. Pins are made with a tolerance of +2 microns or +/-1 micron on the dia, based on customer requirements. Pins with special sizes and lengths can also be manufactured to customer specifications.

Plain plug gauges are manufactured from special grade, hot isostatically pressed submicron grained tungsten carbide material which is ground and precision lapped to ensure the highest quality and life in use. We manufacture carbide plug gauges in sizes ranging from 0.5 to 200mm diameter in three types of designs depending on the gauge diameter 0.5 to 20 mm – reversible type design 8 mm to 40 mm – taper shank type design 30 mm to 20 mm – segment & trilock type design we offer a choice of choosing between GO & NOGO both in tungsten carbide and GO made in tungsten carbide and NOGO in steel. The latter type is more popular owing to the cost advantage. Our plug gauges are manufactured to relevant IS, BS & DIN standards based on customer requests. We also specialise in non-standard designs.

Tungsten carbide ring gauges are manufactured from I.D 3.5 MM TO 60 MM and 1 mm to 200 mm in steel. Tungsten carbide ring gauges have an outer steel casing for easy handling & protection.

Master metrology manufactures tungsten carbide and steel slip gauge sets as well as loose slips and special slips to IS, BS, DIN, JIS, and other specifications along with mike check sets and wear protector sets. Calibration and traceability certificates will accompany the slip gauges. Popular set combinations include M32, M 41, M 88, M 103 and M112 slips. Various grades such as grade II, grade I, grade 0, grade K and grade 00 are supplied.

Plain plug gauges are made in sizes ranging from 0.5 mm to 360 mm. in various types of designs. 0.5 to 4 mm – built-up type design 4 mm to 160 mm - single end progressive type design. Double ended design 0-6 mm up to 360 mm – adjustable type design.
