Frequency To Ma Converter Model No. Xf100-ma420

 | The F to mA Converter (Model No. XF100-mA420) is a microprocessor based unit, designed to accurately measure the input frequency in the low frequency input type applications. The unit operates on the principle of time interval measurement of low frequency input waveforms. Measurement accuracy better than +/- 0.1% is achieved due to high frequency timing clock used internally for time interval measurement. Frequency measurement result is available as fast as two complete cycles of the input waveform at frequencies lower than 10 Hz . The system also consists of a special waveform conditioning front end circuit, which is able to measure Input Sinewave amplitude variations from 15V to 500 V AC as the input frequency increases from 0-100 Hz AC. [Note: Special input settings can be done to allow input waveform amplitude sensing range to be modified to minimum 500mVpp upto Max. 28Vpp.] Analog Output (4-20mADC) is available, proportional to input frequency of 0 to 100Hz AC. |
Frequency To Ma Converter Model No. Xf101-ma420
The F to mA Converter (Model No. XF101-mA420) is a microprocessor based unit, designed to accurately measure the Speed of an object such a Turbine rotor, Motor shaft, Flywheel, etc. The converter interfaces with Magnetic Pick-up (MPU) sensors used widely in such applications and has full scale frequency measurement range of 20 KHz, which allows usage even in very high speed rotary measurement applications. Typical analog type Frequency – mA converters suffer the drawback of slow response time and excessive ripple in the output analog value in the lower 10% of the measurement range. This limitation is overcome in XF101 converters, which operate on the principle of time interval measurement of frequency input waveforms. Frequency measurement result is available within two complete cycles of the input waveform. This results in extremely fast response to any variation in measured frequency value. Measurement accuracy better than +/- 0.1% is achieved due to high frequency timing clock used internally for time interval measurement. The measurement accuracy is maintained over the entire frequency input range of 0-20KHz. The fast response and high accuracy of these converters makes them an ideal choice in speed monitoring applications, where quick corrective action is desirable from the control electronics. Analog Output (4-20mADC) is available, proportional to input frequency of 0 to 20 KHz. Product variants are available with 0-10V DC output and MODBUS RTU Interface (RS485) in place of analog output. |
