Established in the year 1998, Carbone Lorraine, Madras is involved in manufacturing and exporting a wide range of carbon brushes and brush card assemblies. AVO Carbon India is actually a 100% subsidiary of the French conglomerate - AVO Carbon, which was formerly recognized as Groupe Carbone Lorraine. The raw material that we use in our manufacturing processes is procured from vendors, who are located in Europe. The processes followed in our organization are as per various international guidelines. We follow the latest “Pressed in Flexible” method, to manufacture our extensive range.
The range that we offer finds application in starter motor, alternator, wiper motor, engine cooling fan, fuel pump, window lift motor and marble cutter. Apart from this, these also find usage in angle grinders, drills, hammers, mixer, vacuum cleaner, circuit breaker, medical equipments and RO motors. All our dedicated efforts have won us clients in nations like Mexico, USA, Germany, China and Hong Kong. Our clientele includes Lucas TVS, Bosch India, Mitsuba Sical, Preethi, Kent Water Purifier, Bosch Mexico, Remy USA, NIDEC China, Siemens, Johnson Electric, Hong Kong and Delphi.
With over 28 years of experience, our owner, Mr. Suresh Rajagopalan, is a graduate from IIT as well as an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad. His experience and knowledge have enabled us to grow, without compromising on morals and ethics.

A 100% subsidiary of the French industrial giant, AVO Carbon India has become a name to reckon with in the industry today. The company was formerly known as Groupe Carbone Lorraine. We have manufacturing units in Germany as well as in India, alongwith brush card assembly plants in nations like France, Tunisia, Mexico and China. This TS 16949 certified company, caters to more than 70% of the Indian auto electric and home appliance market. We ship almost 6 million carbon brushes, every month to our national and international clients.

Our Infrastructure
Spread over 1 acre, our manufacturing unit is truly state-of-the-art and is equipped with the latest and most advanced machines. It is with the aid of these machines that we have been able to achieve a production capacity of 10 million units per month. We source our range of raw material, including copper, graphite and copper wires from reputed vendors and ensure that all processes being followed in the unit are as per the set norms of the industry.

Warehouse & Packaging
In order to meet the requirements of our clients, we have realized that it is also essential to offer proper packaging facilities. This is why we have setup, within our infrastructure, an advanced packaging unit. Here, we utilize carton boxes and bins to package our range, with care and precision. Such packing ensures that there is no damage to the consignments, during transit.
Our storage unit is also sophisticated and ensures the proper storage of our range. The unit is sectioned in a manner that all packaged consignments can be placed in a categorical manner. This enables our staff to retrieve orders, with the requirement of little effort. The warehouse is located such that all modes of transportation are easily accessible, which guarantees the timely dispatch of all orders. |
