Carman School is a co-educational boarding schools and for proper discipline certain rules and regulations have to be followed in all aspects failing which a child can also be suspended for a certain period of time or even expelled with immediate effect.
Rules and regulations are as follows-
- No child must be involved either directly or indirectly in activities that are anti-social, or harmful in any manner either to the child concerned or to those around him/her (drugs, bullying, street fighting etc..)
- A minimum of 75% of attendance in school is a must
- Habitual unpunctuality
- Children must be present on the last day of the school function before school vacations as well as on the first day after vacations including the days on which the new academic session begins as well as on days students are requested by the school to be present.
- Improper dress on a continued basis.
- Insubordination and/or rude behaviour in or outside school campus.
- Destruction of school property
- Failing in any class for two years consecutively
- Copying or cheating in Tests/ Examinations.
- Irregular attendance
School Management will not be liable for damage/charges/lose on account of injuries, fatal or otherwise which may be sustained by the students at any time during his /her stay in the school or while taking part in studies/sports and extra curricular activities or any other form of activity conducted by the school within or outside the school premises.
Parents/guardians must notify the school of any change or addition in their address or phone numbers from time to time.
All fees must be paid by the 10
th of the month failing to do so will attract fine as specified at that time.
Withdrawal:
Parents intending to withdraw their child will have to give one month’s notice.
Security Deposit:
This is refundable within 3 months of withdrawal. If the security amount is a not claimed within one year; the parents will have no claim on the money.
Transfer Certificate:
No Transfer Certificate will be given unless and until all dues are clear including books etc. taken from the school during the last academic year.
Homework:
Parents/guardians are requested to make time for the child to cover his/her homework and to see that it is done and to sign the homework diary each day.
