Brachytherapy Calibrator![]() Use of Radio-nuclides with in-house verification of source strength is advisable due to the accuracy required for maximizing tumor cell death and minimizing healthy tissue damage. Well-type ionization chambers make it easy to establish source calibration procedures. For accreditation of institutes, some countries have made usage of Well Chamber a mandatory requirement. The Brachytherapy Calibrator has been developed by CD Hightech in collaboration with Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, India and is tested at various leading hospitals. The unit can be used for the calibration of Isotopes in both HDR and LDR applications.The source holders provided would enable high reproducibility of the source position in the chamber. Conductivity Cell & Ntc Automatic Temperature Compensator![]() The CD Conductivity Housing has the widest available range of conductivity cell and NTC automatic temperature compensator options, making it ideal for high-purity water measurement with solution ground. The ultrasonic cleaner option is a plus for processes with deposit problems. The housings are available in SS316, Polypropylene and Teflon with numerous mounting configuration options, including in-line and immersion mountings. A guard ring tube protects the conductivity cell input from electrical leakages occuring due to submersed electrical equipment. Secondary Standard Dosimeter![]() The CD SSD-92 is a Precision Dosimeter for the Calibration and Quality Assurance checks of Radiotherapy machines. The instrument is supplied with a standard 0.5CC Ionization Chamber. The CD Ionization Chambers are connected to the SSD-92 by BNC plugs. The instrument can be used with many types of chambers. Superstir![]() The SUPERSTIR uses CMOS TECHNOLOGY for accurate SPEED CONTROL assuring trouble free continuous operation. The free spinning rotating magnet spins a Teflon stirring bar to stir liquids in open and closed vessels. The solid state FEEDBACK CONTROL SYSTEM maintains excellent speed stability despite viscosity or volume change or voltage fluctuations. The SUPERSTIR operates at FULL HIGH TORQUE at all times through the entire range of 100 to 1400 r.p.m. special circuitry prevents sudden change of speed to keep the stirring bar from spinning out. A unique REVERSE control provides the automatic change of direction of stirring using 30 sec. to 3 min. cycles. In the reversal mode, a CATCH BACK feature is also incorporated. If the stirbar flies out, it is automatically caught back during the next cycle, ensuring a fail-safe unattended stirring operation. The timer control is settable from 5 min to 2 hours. for automatic stoppage of stirring. The timer can be RESET and RESTARTED by a front panel switch. The LOW PROFILE design uses superior stainless steel top with no seams above the base and also an anti skid rubber base. This minimizes handling hazards and avoids awkward heights for adding materials to the stirred liquid. Xrossline Lasers are Easy to install. They have built-in adjustments for horizontal and vertical positioning. The angle can easily be adjusted with three precision screws. An optional bracket allows further adjustment of angle to ±75° allowing the laser to be mounted in arbitrary angle.
