Ministry of Mines, Government of India has ‘in-principally’ agreed to accord CDOS the status of a National Centre. |

A testing centre of CDOS for testing of stones as per ASTM and CE standards is coming up fast at Sitapura, Jaipur.
CDOS is being developed as a Common Facilities Centre for the entire Indian Stone Industry by the National Programme for Development of Indian Stone Industry (NPDSI), a programme of the Ministry of SSI, Government of India and International Centre for Advanced Manufacturing Techniques (UNIDO-ICAMT)
NPDSI is going full-steam ahead, many activities including publications, country pavillions, training programmes etc. have been conducted, while many more are in anvil. For details visit www.icamt.org
CDOS members put up a great show at Verona, Italy, in a country pavillion funded by the National Programme for Development of Stone Industry.
