To indicate the quantity of oil flowing in a particular pipe line, flow meters are provided in oil circulating systems. These may be variable area suspended float type (roat meters) or turbine type with associated indicating instruments. Rota meters are cost effective and simple in construction and are recommended for systems where flow measurement accuracy of up to +/- 2% is acceptable. These may be supplied in graduated glass tube construction or in fully enclosed metallic housings with pointer indication. For higher accuracy and reliability turbine type flow meter are recommended wherein flow is sensed by a moving turbine wheel and then displayed on a digital scale. All these flow meters can also be supplied with flow switches, pre-set at particular flow rates.

Multi-line radial lubricator is a device meant to discharge metered amount of oil grease from different plunger pumps housed in a common body. Each plunger pump delivers oil grease at a high pressure to the lubrication point independently.
Multi-line radial lubricator comprises of a single pumping station having a number of pump-element assemblies placed radially and fitted onto the outer periphery of the housing. These pump elements are actuated by a cam which is rotated by a speed reduction drive coupled to an electric motor.
The dose-cycle of the pump-element is adjustable. Thus multiline lubricator can have pump- elements ejecting different dose cycle.
Oil coolers are employed in the lubrication system to cool the oil returning from the machine. Normally when oil comes back from the machine, it is relatively hot as it takes away heat from bearings/moving parts during the process of lubrication. It therefore becomes important to cool this oil and bring the oil temperature within safe operating limits.

Oil level gauges, level indicators/level transmitters and high & low level switches are provided as standard fitments. Depending upon system requirements, provision for heating of oil is given through steam or electric heaters. The tank is so designed that it can be cleaned without any problem and heaters can be taken out without draining out oil.
