These machines are based on advanced demineralisation mechanism, which removes all dissolved minerals and ions from water. Our Demineralizers offer peak performance and are easy to operate.


Two Bed Demineralizers

Two Bed Demineralizers


CENCO Two Bed Demineralizers are available as Portable type and in Industrial models. Their design which is based on many years of field experience makes them economical, easy to install and simple to operate. These generally consists of two FRP vessels, one containing the Cation exchanger and the other Anion exchange, The Cation exchanger converts all ionized solids in the influent water to their equivalent acids, which are absorbed by the anion exchanger when water passes through it, the water emerging is deionised or demineralised with only traces of dissolved solids present in the treated water. When the Cation and Anion are exhausted, they are regenerated, Cation with Hydrochloric Acid and Anion with Caustic Soda. The Demineralizers are available in PEP vessels which are corrosion resistant with Mu ti port Valves.

Automatic 2 Bed Demineralizers

Automatic 2 Bed Demineralizers


Auto MPV automatically back washes/regenerates plant, based on conductivity or volume indicates flow rate, total volume and also performs as a Level Controller.

 

Auto Demineraliser:

 

System Components:


  • Auto multiport valves (MPV) - 2 nos.
  • Plastic solenoid valves on the suction lines - 2 nos.
  • Level switches for acid! alkali tanks - 2 nos
  • Float switch treated water tank - I no.

Control panel for D.M. plant, which includes:


  • Raw water pump contactor (18 amps), overload relay and mcb
  • Conductivity controller
  • Alarm hooter
  • 3-phase power status indicator
  • Push button to initiate regeneration cycle

 

System Operation Logic:

 

  • The conductivity sensor is located at the outlet of anion unit before the multiport valve
  • During the service operation, if conductivity exceeds the set point selected, the anion MPV goes into rinse cycle for a programmable period (typically 5 mins). Should the conductivity go back to a normal value during the above cycle, the anion MPV switches back to service mode

After rinse cycle, if the conductivity is still high, one of the following two actions take place:


  • If the semi auto mode is selected, pump will stop and an alarm will be sounded through hooter till it is accepted. A regeneration cycle is initiated by activation of a push button on the control panel
  • If full auto mode is selected, regeneration cycle is initiated as follows first the cation goes into regeneration, if the acid level is high. If not an alarm is still sounded through hooter. At the end of the regeneration cycle, if the acid level is still high, then an alarm is sounded

 

Level Control:

 

  • Float Switch in the treated water tank is connected to cation MPV and switches the raw water pump ON, when level is low and OFF when level is high.

Portable Demineralizers

Cenco Portable Demineralisers find extensive use in laboratories, batteries, chemical mixing, food and alcohol industry, metal plating, induction furnaces, mirror silvering etc.

 

The units are manufactured to deliver flow rates from 75 liters per hour to 1000 liters per hour.

 

These units are extremely economical and easy to operate and produce distilled quality water with electrical conductivity of less than 10 micro siemen/cm at 25°c at very low cost.

Industrial Demineralizers


Cenco Industrial Demineralisers are made up of two rubber-lined mild steel pressure vessels containing ion exchangers, connected in series. The first column contains the cation exchanger and the second column contains the anion exchanger. The cation exchanger converts all ionized solids in the raw water to their equivalent acids. The anion exchanger absorbs the acids when the acid water flows through it and produces demineralised water with minute traces of dissolved solids.

 

When the capacities of these ion exchangers are exhausted, they are regenerated. The cation exchanger is regenerated with a dilute solution of hydrochloric acid and the ion exchanger is regenerated with a dilute solution of caustic soda.





Mixed Bed Demineralizers

CENCO Mixed bed Demineralizers are single column consisting of Cation Resin and Anion Resin which are intimately mixed together. Water passing through the column comes repeatedly in contact with these resins and is thus in effect subjected to an almost infinite number of demineralising stages. Demineralised water of very high purity is produced. Regeneration is done using Hydrochloric acid and caustic soda for which the resins need to be separated. After regeneration a blower is used to mix the two resins.

 

We can provide Mixed Bed Demineraliser in different sizes in FRP/SS vessels with Multipart Valves and in Mild Steel rubber lined.
