Multi Grade Pressure Filters

Cenco Water Pressure Filters are ideal for the removal of turbidity and heavy suspended matter. These filters can be operated at much higher linear flow rate as compared to usual sand filters and as such occupy lesser space.

They also give an improved filtrate quality of less than 2 NTU when the inlet turbidity is up to 50 ppm.

Advantages:

• The quality of the filtered water is better than conventional sand filters
• Raw water is used for washing the filter media in the plant. As such, there is no need for filtered water storage and for the corresponding pumping equipment. There is also no need for an air blower, or its accessories
• The consumption of chemicals used for coagulation, Such as alum, is reduced
• The smaller size of the unit occupies lesser floor space and saves foundation costs
