Chakra is an amalgamation of selected items, common in their exclusivity for either being handmade, or made from eco friendly and 100% natural ingredients. Presently, we house under the Chakra umbrella, hand block printed bedroom and kitchen linen sets (with bead work and embellishments), blue pottery tiles and door knobs, a full range of soy and aroma candles, and handmade paper products like writing stationery, gift bags and wine bottle bags, and beautiful lampshades.

We would like to bring your attention to the reasons for choice of these products .Handblock printing is entirely done by hand with vegetable dyes, handmade paper is wood free, each of our blue pottery items are brush painted by hand, and our candles are paraffin free and an integral part of aromatherapy !

Each of the products is executed to finish by the most skilled local artisans and craftsmen, employed in the age old arts for decades some hail from families where the art has been handed down from generation to generation over centuries. Some items take days or even months to execute, and involve back breaking labor, often through nights too.

Chakra aims to give these artisans their due recognition and also give world wide exposure to their fruits of labor. We share our profits with them, to spur crafts and industries that may soon be lost with the onslaught of modern technology. The ultimate test of these crafts is the preferences of the patrons.
