Epochem – C (CTCN)is two pack systems, i.e. Resin and Hardener, mainly developed for its versatile use as anti - corrosive coating in chemical, fertilizer, pulp & paper, and pharmaceutical industries. It is a combination of Epoxy Resin, Coal-Tar, Cardinal and Hardener.

Epochem – C (CTCN) is two component system applications. These two components are mixed before application in equal proportion by volume. Therefore, the process of weighting odd quantities of resin and Hardener is eliminated. It can be applied directly over neat and cleaned surface as primer and finish coat.

Surface Preparation:

For better adhesion it is essential to clean the surface on which Epochem-C (CTCN)is to be applied. to remove dust dirt or loose particle by emery paper, wire brush or power tools. To get optimum performance surface must be dry, free from oil grease and sufficiently roughened.

pochem - A is a chemical setting Epoxy Resin based chemical resistant mortar .

Epochem - A sets hard and bonds tenaciously to concrete and metals . It also exhibits superior adhesion to ceramic and glass surface .

Epochem - A when completely set , is resistant to all Non - Oxidizing acids , low concentrations of oxidizing acids , all alkalies , salts , oils , greases , and some solvents at temperature upto 120 degree C. It is not recommended for use with concentrated oxidizing acids and agents , Ketones and other organics such as chloroform.

Bitochem - M is acid alkali resisting mastic for use as a protective impervious layer for concrete , brick work steel etc . Bitochem - M mastic have good resistance to large number of mildly corrosive conditions . The floor system in most factories comprises a structural load carrying floor , usually with a screed and with a wearing finish. The structural floor and screed together with , for convenience be called a sub - floor and are assumed to be constructed from normal or rapid hardening Portland cement , and therefore concrete made from it are attacked by acids and chemicals.

The risk of corrosion of steel reinforcement must also be considered . If acids , salts, or chemical can reach the steel it will inevitably corroded . It should be particularly noted that solution or common salt , which do not attack concrete , may reach steel reinforcement and produce corrosion , and as such liquid-tight protection is therefore required.

Bitochem-M mastic is an invaluable material for use as a preventive coating concrete , brick work wood , iron , etc. where corrosion has to be considered . Its adhesion to concrete surface is excellent . It is applied over rough concrete surface previously primed with Bitochem - P primer. For wear and tear as a floor cover, we recommend 15 to 20mm thick layer of Bitochem , mastic compound and for general cover work such as for walls or vertical surface we recommend 12 to 15mm thick layer.

Concrete surface must be cleaned and rough. No primer should be applied over smooth, polished and wet surface. After cleaning the concrete surface one coat of Bitochem - P primer shall be applied with brush and allowed to dry thoroughly . The drying time will depend upon the temperature .

Cinochem developed from Cashew Nut Shell Liquid is non - porous , self-hardening and relatively plastic in nature, when set a dense impermeable and resilient cement is obtained .

Cinochem exhibits resistance to a wide range of acids , alkalies , mixed alkaline solutions with acids and water .

Cinochem is good bedding materials in laying the ceramic bricks and tiles for the construction of acid resisting tank lining , flooring .

Surface as it possesses excellent resilient property good enough to absorb the heavy impacts subjected to the surface of floor and tanks . It can be also used for jointing Chemical Resistant Stone - ware pipe lines transporting corrosive fluids like acids , alkalies , and plant effluents.

Cinochem cement adheres strongly when applied on the ceramic metal and concrete surface , it can be used as a monolithic lining for the construction of dilute acid storage tanks.

Chemical Resistant Polyester Resin Based Mortar

Epochem - P Polyester resin based mortar is the chemical setting compound . It is resistant to Chlorine dioxide and Sodium hypo chlorite bleach solutions . It is also resistant to dilute oxidizing acids , non - oxidizing acids and some solvents at temperature upto 110 degree C.

Epochem - P is used to joint Acid proof tile in the construction of Chlorine dioxide mixer , and bleach towers in the pulp and paper industry . In addition to its unique chemical resistant

Epochem - P will set hard in contact with concrete and metals.

Chemical Resistance

Epochem - P when completely set is resistant to all non - oxidizing acids , Chlorine dioxide , Sodium hypo chlorite , dilute solution of Nitric and Chromic acids , other oxidizing agents , acidic and neutral salts , some organic solvents and weak alkalies . It is not recommended for use with concentrated Nitric or Chromic acids , Hydrofluoric acid , Fluoride salts , strong alkalies , Ketones or Esters.

EPOCHEM-W, an improved grade of Water based Epoxy, High solids two components Epoxy based (i.e. Resin & Hardener) air-drying systems, specially formulated for various applications.

Salient Features:

It is chemically cures at 30 degree C. and no additional curing method is required.

Being Water based Epoxy, it can be applied on Damp Surface unlike pure Epoxy resins.

It is odourless, non-flammable, non-toxic enhance it can even be applied in potable water tanks.

CORROSION PROOF CEMENT

Furochem is a chemical setting furan – based cement . This cement is a carefully balanced

Combination of Furan liquid and filler having such desirable properties as high chemical resistance, non-porous and low shrinkage

Furochem withstands more different kinds of corrosives than most other types of cements. It is resistance to practically non - oxidizing acids , alkalis , salts , greases and detergents. It is not suitable for strong oxidizing acids such as Nitric acids.

Furochem can be used at temperature upto 175 degree C. Furochem cement mortar is designed primarily for the jointing of Acid proof brick and tile for the protection of steel and concrete reaction vessels , storage tanks , sumps , perish , absorption towers , fumes stacks and pickling lines . Such equipment has been used in the pulps , paper , steel , non- ferrous metals , fertilizer, leather , textile and chemical processing industries.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE CEMENT MORTAR DESCRIPTION AND USES

Phenochem is Phenol resin based corrosion proof cement. Phenochem exhibits excellent resistance to sulphuric acid in concentration as high as 92% and is principally used with Acid proof brick to construct corrosion proof masonry sheathing to protect reaction vessels, storage tanks, pickling tanks, and processing tanks. It is also used in the installation of corrosion proof floors.

One of the outstanding features of Phenochem is its excellent working properties. It can be easily applied using brick layers techniques and not sticky nor difficult to handle. Phenochem is also available for special applications in such as cases where an electrical insulating cement is required.

ANTI CORROSIVE CEMENTS PROTECT INDUSTRIES SILOCHEM ACID RESISTING CEMENT

(SILICATE BASED)

A general purpose cement for acid conditions only resistant to medium constructions of most of the common organic and inorganic acids except Hydrofluoric acid Recommended where the concentration of the acid is high suitable for high temperature. Unsuited to aqueous solution alkaline condition.

SULPHUR TYPE CHEMICAL RESISTANT CEMENT MORTAR

Sulphochem is Sulphur based mortar containing plasticizer and inert fillers. The molten mortar is extremely fluid and pours quite easily without lumps.

Sulphochem ingots are broken and are placed in a suitable clean, dry kettle. It is melted over low heat by stirring with metal rod. If Sulphochem is over heated or ignited a tight cover or wet gunny bags shall be kept ready for use in case of fire. Sulphochem mortar burns with a low blue flames. If this should be happen heating should be stopped and the vessel should be covered with the lid or wet gunny bags, until the fire is extinguished.

If the mortar thick on over heating it should be allowed to cool and stirred until thin. Care shall be taken that water or damp mortars do not fall or mixed in the heating vessel so as to avoid foaming.
