Quality Assurance

Quality assurance system is being followed with a stringent and comprehensive quality control procedure. At CHAYA, quality consciousness has been of prime importance. The quality control measures are initiated right from the raw material selection till dispatch of the springs in following ways:

• Segregation of raw materials based on specifications and end applications of the springs
• First piece/sample approval
• On line inspection and process control
• Batch/Sample inspection of production
• Internal Inspection Reports for every batch consisting of dimensional specifications and load-deflection characteristics
• Material certificates specifying chemical & physical properties, as required
• All our measuring instruments, spring testers and temperature gauges are calibrated periodically.

Infrastructure

We are equipped with a state-of-art production plant and use the best raw materials that are required for high quality products. We manufacture springs utilizing both 'Cold Coiling' and 'Hot Coiling' processes. The process and the sequence of operations are selected on the basis of the raw materials used, final dimensions of the spring, quantity and the application. It Includes:

• Imported automatic spring coils to handle wires from 0.10 mm to 8.0 mm
• Lathes and semi automates for coiling wires from 8.5 mm to 16.5 mm
• Hot coiling for bars from 17.0 mm to 40.0 mm
• Automatic spring end grinders for grinding springs up to 8.0 mm wire diameter
• Heavy duty end face grinders and pedestal grinders for grinding springs up to 40.0 mm bar diameter
• Electric furnaces and ovens
• Hydraulic presses for pressing and scragging
• Tooling, shaftings, jigs and fixtures
• Digital, hydraulic and manual spring testers.
