Our Toroidal transformers are more efficient than the
cheaper laminated E-I types for a similar power level. These are being made of
using cutting edge technology and sophisticated machines. The salient features of

The Toroidal transformers are built around a ring-shaped
core which is made from a long strip of silicon steel or permalloy wound into a
coil, powdered iron, or ferrite depending on operating frequency. These are
more efficient than the cheaper laminated E-I types because of their smaller
size, lower weight (about half), less mechanical hum, lower exterior magnetic
field, low off-load losses and single-bolt mounting.
 

These variable autotransformers are widely used to vary the output voltage conveniently for a steady AC input
voltage. It is equipped with a sliding brush secondary connection and a
