6mil or 0.150mm
10mil or 0.25mm
14mil or 0.35mm
22mil or 0.55mm
16mil or 0.40mm (Leno) (4mm x 4mm Netted)
Types Of Joint Available
Heat Seal Overlap Joint : This is the standard splice for most applications, overlap splices are normally 90o, although 45o or 20o splices are slightly stronger & more flexible especially when running on small diameter pulleys. The overlap width also depends on the pulley diameter.
Alligator Spice Joint / Metal Joint : This mechanical joint is made with metal alligator lacing through which pin is placed to complete the splice. This provides a belt which can be together without taking machine a part.
Fabric Pin-Splice : This soft seal splice is similar to the alligator splice but completely eliminates the metal clip. It uses the same material as of the belt with a special pin of Teflon or Fluon. This type of belts are used in microwave ovens & equipments.
Sewn Seam Splice : This is a heat sealed overlap joint which is also sewn to reinforce it for application where extra sheets or belt wear is encountered.
Applications:
Heat sealing of plastic pouches in continuous Band sealer.
Collar & Cuffs fusing.
Wrap & Slide sealing of soaps, biscuits & Toilet Paper rolls.
Polyurethane bridges the gap between rubber and plastic on the hardness scale. It can be produced in hardness ranging from 20 Shore A to 85 Shore D allowing it to be utilized for many different applications. Polyurethane has excellent abrasion resistance and has out performed ordinary rubber and plastic sometimes by a factor of as much as 8 to 1. For applications in which wear is a problem, substituting existing parts with one made out of polyurethane can reduce the frequency of replacement. This in turn means less down time and greater productivity
Physical Properties:
Hardness (Shore A) 90 A ± 2
Tensile strength 200-300 Kg/Cm2
Ultimate Tensile 42.0
Elongation at Break(%) 500-600
Tear Strength 90-130 Kg/Cm
Compression Modulus (PSI) 4000.0
Resilience (%) 50.0
Compression Set (%) 30.0 (After 22 hrs. at 70oC)
Working Temperature -40oC to +110oC
Specific Engineering Advantages:
Excellent Abrasion Resistance & Impact and Shock Resistance
Hydraulic Stability & Good Rebounce Characteristics
Good Machinablity & High Load Bearing Capacity
Controlled Coefficient of Friction
Good Bonding to Metals, Wood & Plastics
Oil Grease & Chemical Resistance
Ozone, Oxygen & Radiation Resistance
Wide Temperature Stability (-40oC to +110oC)
High Wear & Tear Resistance
Excellent Environmental Properties:
The physical properties of polyurethane are very resistant to environmental conditions such as heat, cold, and aging. Studies have shown that, upon weathering at ambient conditions for 12-15 years, the tensile strength, elongation and hardness of polyurethane changed less than 10%. Polyurethane has excellent long term stability in water and is resistant to swelling and deterioration in temperatures as high as 80oC. It is also very resistant to mold, mildew and fungus growth, which makes it an excellent choice for applications in which there is exposure to a moist environment.
Other Features & Benefits: Polyurethane can be bonded to metal, wood or fabric giving these materials a protective layer and therefore extending the life of the substrate. Polyurethane can be used to reduce noise levels in manufacturing facilities by having machinery such as ductwork and feed chutes lined with polyurethane, clatter and banging will be reduced.
Applications : Chemical Plants, Paint Industries, Food Processing Units, Hydraulics & Pneumatic Equipments, Construction Equipments, Paper Industries, Gas Cylinders, Plumbing, Ship & Boat Industry, Medical Equipments, Auto Industries, Petrochemicals Plants, Pharmaceuticals Industries, Areas Of Applications Are Limited By Ones' Imagination.
