Ayurveda

Ayurveda, which is known as “science of life” is an ancient system of traditional medicine that is indigenous to India. The word Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words “Ayu” and “Veda”. “Ayu” means life and “Veda” signifies knowledge, thus Ayurveda implies the knowledge of life. The practical application of Ayurveda draws has been referred from the ancient literatures of “Vedic texts”

Since the science is more than 3,000 years old, it is a tried a tested method for treatment of various acute and chronic ailments. For several generations this science is being researched by several specialists and practicing physicians. Our Founder

Our organization is headed by Dr. R.K. Chhaparwal, who is a qualified doctor in modern medicine and is also known as a producer of Ayurvedic Medicine. Dr. R.K. Chhaparwal possesses the MBBS, DTD degree, which he acquired from G.R. Medical College, Gwalior, India. Further, he holds a diploma in Tuberculosis K.G. Medical College, Lucknow, India.

After completion of his studies in 1957, his inclination for indigenous medicine made him serve the Health Department of the Government of Madhya Pradesh, India. Alongside, he had been learning the Ayurvedic system of medicine from his father, who himself was an Ayurvedic Physician in at that time.

His interests in Ayurveda led him towards obtaining a degree in Ayurveda (Herbal Medicines), after which, he assisted his father in the formulation of medicines and treatment of patients. Through this unique opportunity, he realized his innate talent and has been practicing modern medicine and Ayurvedic system for almost 40 years now.

With the view to render excellent services to the humanity and suffering masses, he started with the mass production of Ayurvedic/Herbal medicines, which laid the foundation of “Chirayu Pharmaceuticals”, his own dream company. His unflinching efforts made him acquire the degree of “Ayurveda Ratna” and made him a renowned personality at the domestic and international front.
