Choco-là was originally started as a hobby in December 2003. The idea of starting a 100% chocolate boutique was a challenging one back then with difficulties in sourcing the right ingredients, the right cocoa and the temperature control while making chocolate. The initial years were spent in trial and error, welcoming a lot of positive criticism. In March 2006 a chocolate training to France for the love of Chocolates changed everything. Back in India, EBONY FOODS’ Choco-là was incorporated in 2008 and Choco-là – Pondicherry’s 1st and exclusive chocolates and chocolate desserts boutique opened for business on the 23rd of August 2009.
