Abhijeet Family Celebrates Founder's Day. [25-MAR-10]
The celebration of Abhijeet Group’s Founder’s Day was a reflection of the Abhijeetian cult – Work Hard and Party Harder. “Life is a celebration and we should enjoy every moment of it. We should treat each moment to its merit, while working, give it your best and while partying bring the house down.”

The reasons to celebrate were more than one, not only was it the Founder’s Day but also our charismatic and visionary Chairman Shri Manoj Jayaswal celebrates his birthday on this day.

A magnificent stage, stunning performances and a spirit of oneness that made all the guests feel a member of the Abhijeet Family, indeed it was the party of the year. The stage was set on fire by Bollywood girl, Priyanka Sonalki by some sizzling performances.

The opening act of the evening was however very unique. The guests were given a glimpse of Excellence in Execution as Shri Sudhir Gupta, the CEO of MIHAN Power Plant left them spell bound with his songs which were followed by a few more in house performances.

Sugandha Mishra, of Great Indian Laughter Champions fame, had the audience falling of their chairs laughing with her cute and rib tickling jokes. The show stopper of the evening was Dance Master Terence Lewis of Dance India Dance fame. His performance sent the crowd into ecstasy and he took the excitement of the evening onto a completely different level.

He later invited the Jayaswals onto the stage saying, “I have made a lot of stars dance to my tune, now is a chance to make a legendary businessman dance.”

Also performing on the evening was the Dwhani. They started of with a quick musical quiz; they played a few English numbers and asked the audience to guess the Hindi version of the songs. Their soul stirring voice and presentation was a perfect final act of the evening.

Later the stage was open for the Abhijeetian who made the most of the opportunity to Dance with the Boss.

Abhijeet Group signs contract with BHEL  [23-JUL-10]
Abhijeet Group, has signed a Contract with the Premier Power Equipment Manufacturer, M/s. Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) on 22nd July, 2010 at BHEL, New Delhi for the major equipments of the  1080 MW Matrishri Usha Jayaswal Mega Power Plant at Chandwa in Jharkhand.

The Contract was signed in presence of Mr. Abhishek Jayaswal, Managing Director, Abhijeet Group and Mr. Atul Saraya, Executive Director (Power), BHEL. Mr. Rajiv Kumar, Executive Director, E.R., BHEL and Mr. P.K. Agarwal, Executive Director, Marketing, BHEL were among others who attended the event.

The contract was signed by Mr. Arun Gupta, Chief Executive Officer – Projects, Abhijeet Group and Mr. V. Venkatakrishnan, General Manager (Mktg.) from M/s. BHEL. As per this Contract M/s. BHEL will be executing the Boiler, Turbine & Generator (BTG) Sets of the 4 x 270 MW  in two phases of 2 x 270 MW each. The scope of work includes Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of Boilers, Steam Turbines, Turbo-Generators and associated auxiliaries alongwith state-of-the-art Controls & Instrumentation System as well as the Power Transformers.
