The steam turbine is dependable, easy to use and versatile. These qualities make it an ideal choice to drive some common equipments used by industrial, process oriented and power generation industries. Most of the widely used generator set are single–stage and multi-stage steam turbines come from Dresser- Rand Inc., USA (DR), which is the world leader in designing and manufacturing all kinds of steam turbines.

Multi Stage Turbine

It comes with a rugged casing design.
It also has a horizontally split casing.
To give maximum efficiency it is fitted with automatic control valves.
It has customized stationary steam path components.
To increase its performance and reliability blading has been specially designed.

Its governing controls precision is matched according to requirement.
It comes with shaft packing for increased steam path efficiency.
We provide customized engineering for applications upto 102 MW.
Its speed can go upto 20,000 RPM.
The inlet pressure goes upto 2,000 psig while inlet temperature goes upto 10500 F.
The exhaust pressure goes upto 800 psig or condensing.
It includes, three wheel diameters and seven models covering capacities upto 70,000 HP (52,220 KW), in compliance with API 611 OR API 612.

Single State Turbine

It includes three wheel diameters and seven models covering capacities upto 3,000 HP (2,600 KW), in compliance with API 611 OR API 612.

Our PAP range of engineered centrifugal compressors, in association with FS-Elliot are manufactured as per stringent API 672 standards.

We have successfully packed 70P Elliott Blower, Gearbox, 1000 KW motor (2-pole) with double extended shaft with 500 KW startup steam turbine for starting the string.

This includes the following activities:

Final selection of the compressor for onward transmission to our Principal for manufacture.
The entire system design is carried out which includes the design of the accessories for the suction side of the compressor to the discharge side to ensure that the customer gets the desired air for their process i.e. developing the Process & Instrumentation Diagram for the project.
Reading the customer specifications and translating them into the individual component specifications for procurement of bought outs.
Based on the plot plan furnished by the customer, develop the plant layout, equipment general arrangement diagram, foundation drawing.
Based on the equipment layout, draw up the piping general arrangement and piping isometrics.
Thermal & mechanical design of the after cooler & preparation of the fabrication drawings.

Manufacture
We have in-house capabilities to manufacture and supply the accessories for the compressed air system such as air filter housing, suction piping, discharge/ bypass piping, cooling water headers/piping, after cooler, moisture separator, after filter, air dryers, air receiver, etc.

Packaging

In addition to the manufactured components, the project department in conjunction with the design department procure the accessories required such as: pressure/temperature gauges, expansion bellow, silencer, valves, indicators, transmitters/switches, safety valves, etc.

The complete system is then packaged and if called for in the contract, tested at our Mangalore factory, prior to despatch to site.

We manufacture superior quality steam condenser which are used for manufacturing Turbine Generator Sets and are designed according to the HEI 9th edition. We have exported close to 100 condensers since our inception.

We offer customization facility in our Shell and Tube Heat Exchange which can be designed as per "TEMA- C" or "TEMA- R" standards. Its mechanical designs are available according to ASME section VIII division.

Our superior quality pressure vessels are available in different capacities and made from different types of construction material. We offer customized designs based on the clients specifications to meet various national and international standards and also comes in customized designs like U- Tube bundle and Straight tube bundle.

Monel and Cupro Nickel are used in heat exchangers for sea water cooling.
We offr seal welding and strength welding of tube to tube sheet joints.
Our Tube sheet and floating tube sheet designs are fixed.

CICB-Chemicon has tied up with Kuenling machinery Refrigerating Co.Ltd. of Taiwan to sell their complete range of chiller units. We offer range of air-cooled and water-cooled chiller units from 5-500 TR for industrial and commercial applications. Chillers can be offered with R22, 134A, 407C AS.

Chiller units come with very reliable Scroll (Chyn, Tec, Taiwan)/ Screw compressors (Fuscheng) or Centrifugal Compressors (FS Elliott, USA) depending on the size.

CICB-Chemicon offers complete liquid CO2 storage cum vaporisation systems for various applications such as soft drink manufacturing, Welding, Foundries, Super Critical Extraction, Food, Freezers, Cylinder Filling. The standard storage sizes are 10, 20, 30, 50 & 100 T Storage Systems upto 30T are skid mounted.

Liquid CO2 storage vessel is desugned for a pressure between 23-25kg/cm2 liquid CO2 is stored at a temperature of -17 degree C to -20 degree C. The tanks are PUF insulated. The systems comes with required safety valves. The entire system is mounted on a skid for ease of transportation & installation at site.
