Chocolates, unlike Indian mithai, have a longer shelf-life and are liked by all age groups - children to young adults to the old. It is a statement of luxury and symbolizes class. Every Cioccolato product is therefore a work of art, personalized and carefully crafted to express the deepest of feelings. Cioccolato's Founder Director Ms. Sharmila Nisudan is herself a chocolatier, and has worked with chocolate for almost two decades. Her 'secret recipes' are now wrapped in beautiful hampers for her clients. She says "We have spent almost 2 years into research and development of the products you see here today. Our recipes have now been mastered by our chefs, and they too, like us, craft every order with passion and dedication." Sharmila has been joined by her husband, the well-known Chef Keshi Nisudan, who spent three decades in patisserie. Chef Keshi is Cioccolato's Managing Director, and has immense experience that has traveled down from his college days at Pusa, to his specialization in chocolate confectionery in Switzerland. Chef Keshi is a seven-times Gold Medal winner and is well traveled. He owes his experience to the hospitality industry and has worked with well-known hotel chains like the Taj, Hyatt and ITC. It is indeed a dream come true for the Nisudans, as they put in their rich experience into working out new recipes for Cioccolato. They have created a special health series in chocolate and confectionery - the 'Health Zest' chocolates are made of pure dark bitter Belgian couvertures, and include sugar-free chocolates that are safe for diabetics and the diet conscious alike. Keshi adds "No synthetic products or preservatives are used in our recipes, for we believe in working with natural ingredients."
