Structural Glazing System

• Structural glazing system incorporates additional frame of aluminum to place the glass on the grid structure of mullion and transom
• This system is popularly used where stability is the main concern and in high rise buildings
• The structural sealant forms a continuous, waterproof seal against leakage and air infiltration
• The sealant and spacer transmit wind load movement to the structure and withstands flexure, tension, compression and differential thermal hear stresses
• Silicone resists UV, ozone and other environmental exposures and does not take
• on a compression set or lose resiliency

Spider Glazing System

• Spider glazing system is an alternative to glued on structural glazing
• This system allows to hold the glass by means of visible metal parts, which only cover a small part of the glass surface
• The fixing holes can be drilled and countersunk, so that the bolts are embedded in the thickness of the glass
• This system is often used for shop front at street level

We supply Tempcoat - Heat Reflective Paint, which is an emulsion of high-grade silicon based ceramic in water. This contains the added advantages of ceramic particles, which are heat, and cold dissipating elements that give the ability to save on heating and cooling costs. This ceramic coating system is dried by evaporation to yield a tough, velvety, non-yellowing, watertight surface with very high surface adhesion strength, abrasion resistance and UV stability.
