We manufacture products based on SilkCotton(Kapok) which has numerous advantages over Foam and Synthetic Products. For the advantages of SilkCotton and Dis advantages of Foam/Latex please read the information that is available at the Home page of Our WebSite."
The Main Theme of our product is basically going Natural.i.e., The raw material we use id 100% organic and it is better in all aspects when compared to the synthetically perpared Foam and Latex.
In Continuation of the Indian Western Ghats, amidst greenish mountains we have our farm orchard exclusively for Kapok/Silk Cotton. The most beautiful and special thing about our Farm is 100% ORGANIC. No synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, irradiation, sewage sludge or genetic engineering were used on our Kapok Tree. Because of which we achieve reduced soil erosion, retention of soil nutrients and no contamination from toxic pesticide use that can remain persistent in our environment.
The industry has spacious storage place for Raw material, processed Kapok and Finished products. Our operating floor has separate sections for tailoring, Stuffing Kapok, finishing and packing. We have provided our employees with proper PPEs (Personal Protective Equipments) adhering to Occupational Safety and Health act. We have got trained and especially skilled resources for specific work. Our finished product speaks the skill set of our tailors and stuffing people. The most beautiful thing about our products is the Hand work of our super skilled resource. The basic structure and design is stitched in the machinery while Stuffing, Bordering and final finishes are done by hand work.
The kapok is deciduous, dropping its foliage after seasonal rainy periods. Flowering occurs when the tree is leafless.Only a few flowers on a given branch will open . The fibres are referred to as silk cotton and is yellowish brown, lightweight, and lustrous.
The seed and fibre, removed from the pods by hand, are stirred in a electric drum; the seeds fall to the bottom, leaving the fibres free. The seeds may be processed to obtain oil for making soap, and the residue is used as fertilizer and cattle feed.
Kapok is a moisture-resistant, quick-drying, resilient, and buoyant fibre. The fibres contain both lignin, a woody plant substance, and cellulose, a carbohydrate. The inelastic fibre, or floss, is too brittle for spinning, but it weighs only one-eighth as much as cotton.
Kapok is used as stuffing for mattress, pillows, as insulation material, us a substitute for absorbent cotton in surgery, and floss has been used in life preservers and other water-safety equipment. |
