Acid Dyeing Service
We also offer our clients Acid Dyeing Services that are done using various kinds of acids. Acid dye is a type of dye that is applied from an acidic solution. The acid used in the dye bath in homes and art studios is often vinegar (acetic acid) or citric acid. The uptake rate of the dye is controlled with the use of sodium chloride. In textiles, acid dyes are effective on protein fibers, i.e. animal hair fibers like wool, alpaca and mohair. They are effective in dyeing the synthetic fiber nylon but of minimal interest in dyeing any other synthetic fibers. Acid dyes are generally divided into three classes which depend on fastness requirements, level dyeing properties and economy. The classes overlap and generally depend on type of fiber to be colored and also the process used.
Direct Dyeing Service is another kind of service offered by us to our clients as per their requirements and demands. Any kind of colored, water-soluble compounds that have an affinity for fiber and which are taken up directly, such as the benzidine derivatives. Direct dyes are usually cheap and easily applied, and are highly effective in yielding bright colors. Wash fastness is poor but may be improved by after treatment. Most packaged dyes sold for home use are direct dyes. Direct dyes are a class of hot water dyes that are used for cellulose fibers, such as cotton. It is one of the two types of dyes that are mixed with 'all purpose dyes' such as Rit, Tintex Hot Water dye, and Dylon multi-purpose Dye. The main reason why direct dyes are used is because of cost. Although the widely available all-purpose dyes which contain a mixture of direct and acid dyes are very expensive, per pound of fabric to be dyed, direct dyes sold alone and purchased in bulk are among the cheapest of all dyes. Direct Dyes are used on cellulose fibers such as cotton, rayon, and linen, but they will also color silk and wool unless dyeing is accompanied by a chemical 'reserving agent', which unfortunately is unavailable to home dyers (except, perhaps, as an element in Alter Ego's very expensive proprietary 'fixative'). Direct dyes are not generally more light fast than fiber reactive dyes.
The Ombrey Dyeing Services offered by us is a process of dyeing that is done using two or more colors. In this process two or more colors are taken in separate containers and then one end of the fabric is dipped in a lighter shade of dye whereas the other end is dipped into the other container. In a normal process same family of colors is used, although contrast matching is also possible. The color effect depends upon the time period till the fabric is dipped. In order to ensure color fastness of the fabric, we utilize quality dyes and chemicals.
Our organization is engaged in offering Pigment Dyeing Services, which is a process of solid-color dyeing of garments using fabric paints, or pigments that adheres to the fiber using a glue-like binder. We use quality dyes and eco-friendly chemicals in the process to offer maximum satisfaction to the clients. Our rich expertise and management system allows us to offer our services with quality and reliability in a cost effective manner.
We offer Reactive Dyeing Services to our clients as per their specifications and requirements. We utilize reactive dyes that are commonly used to dye cellulosic fibers. The dyes contain a reactive group, either a haloheterocycle or an activated double bond, that, when applied to a fiber in an alkaline dye bath, forms a chemical bond with hydroxyl group on the cellulosic fiber. Reactive dyeing is one of the mostly used methods for the coloration of cellulosic fibers. Reactive dyes are also applied on wool and nylon; in the latter case they are applied under weakly acidic conditions. Reactive dyes have a low utilization degree compared to other types of dyestuff, since the functional group also bonds to water, creating hydrolysis.
We are service providers and offer our clients excellent Sulphur Dyeing Services. The sulfur dyes used in this process are the most commonly used dyes manufactured for cotton in terms of volume. They are cheap, generally have good wash-fastness and are easy to apply. The dyes are absorbed by cotton from a bath containing sodium sulfide or sodium hydrosulfite and are made insoluble within the fiber by oxidation. During this process these dyes form complex larger molecules which are the basis of their good wash-fastness.
We offer Tie-Dyeing Services to our clients, which is a process of resist dyeing textiles or clothing which is made from knit or woven fabric, usually cotton; typically using bright colors. It is a modern version of traditional dyeing methods used in many cultures throughout the world. Tie-dying is accomplished by folding the material into a pattern, and binding it with string or rubber bands. Dye is then applied to only part of the material. The ties prevent the entire material from being dyed. Designs are formed by applying different colors of dyes to different sections of the fabric. Once complete, the material is rinsed, and the dye is set.
