It is widely used as a heat resistant barrier for hair dryers, electric irons, electric cookers and other heating appliances because of its superior heat reflection ability and heat resistance.It generates very little smoke even at excessive temperatures.It is also used by Magnets Manufacturer. Flexible mica plate is a good heat resistant insulating material, which retains its permanent flexibility at room temperature. It is widely used for transformers, electric furnaces and electric home appliances.

The standard size of Rigid Mica is 1200mm x 1000mm & 1000mm x 600mm.

* Tips for floor marking :

- The regulations require that permanent aisles and passageways must be marked. A common method for marking is by using yellow floor marking tape. Osha designates yellow as the caution color, to be used for marking physical hazards such as stumbling, falling or tripping points. Painted yellow lines are generally recognized as the most convenient and inexpensive way to mark aisles. However, since floor marking tapes normally last several years before replacement is necessary, this may be your most logical route for longevity and ease of maintenance. ANSI z535.2 safety color code also defines "Safety yellow" as the identification of caution. It requires the use of solid yellow for maximum contrast with the particular background and it designates yellow as the preferred method for traffic markings and floor tapes.

Aisle width :

- These includes requirements that aisles be at least three feet wide inside storage rooms containing flammable and combustible liquids and that 28 inches is the minimum width for emergency exit access. Osha's general requirement for aisles and passageways is that "Sufficient safe clearances" must be provided where mechanical equipment is used. The width will vary depending upon how the aisle is utilized in the workplace, as for aisle ways that utilize forklift trucks traffic or other mechanical equipment they will need to be wider than aisles for pedestrian traffic. A good average size is 36 inches.
