COMODITRAD INTERNATIONAL was launched by Mr. Bharat Gandhi in the year 1980 to provide brokerage and other relevant services to Indian Exporters and Foreign Buyers in the field of Agricultural commodities international trade.
A decade before establishing his own business under the name and style of "COMODITRAD INTERNATIONAL", Mr.Bharat Gandhi entered into Agricultural Commodities trade in 1970 and worked for 10 years to gain thorough knowledge and practical experience of handling exports from India of Groundnut Kernels, Oilseed Meals, Castor Oil, Sesame seed etc. and imports of Canola - Rapeseed, various Edible Oils, Pulses etc.
It is with the backing of such experience and confidence that the company COMODITRAD INTERNATIONAL was formed.

Achievements
COMODITRAD INTERNATIONAL is proud to have a history of being the pioneer in the field of indian agriculture commodities exports.
It is COMODITRAD that finalized the first export orders for certain Agricultural Products of India :-
March 1985 First time Indian Rapeseed Meal to Korea.
July 1985 First time Indian Rapeseed Meal in PELLET form to Taiwan.
April 1987 First time Indian 3mm size Rapeseed Meal to Japan.
Feb. 1989 First time Indian Sesame seed to Korea.
May 2001 First time Indian Feed Wheat to Sri Lanka.
Sept. 2001 First time Indian Milling Wheat to Sri Lanka.
March 2005 First time Byadgi (Karnataka) Whole Chilli exports to Far East Countries.
2007 Introduced Ghana 's Shea seed butter to Indian chocolate manufacturers.
2009 In joint venture with Korean Principals Setting-up TOFU (Soya curd) unit.
Similarly, as an unique and 100% feed ingredients trade facilitator, COMODITRAD also developed exports of "Sodium based Bentonite Powder" containing oxides of Aluminum, Calcium, Iron, Potassium etc. which is useful for feed conversion ratio and as a growth promoter. This specially processed material works as immunity builder and toxin remover as well as Antibody Titres against many virus attacks to Poultry.
COMODITRAD even exports specially made Refined Salt containing 99% Sodium Chloride, 30-35 mg/kg Iodine with 99% purity. This quality of salt is an important Poultry Feed ingredient for hot and humid countries.
COMODITRAD has successfully handled third country businesses like Milk Powder from Poland and Czech to Japan, Canola-Rapeseed from Canada to Japan, Korea and Taiwan, and Chinese Feed grade Corn / Maize to Sri Lanka.
