| ProductsAchromatic Doublets And Triplets LensesThese are lenses having 2 or 3 components of different optical glasses. They are corrected for spherical and chromatic aberrations. They can either cemented together or air-spaced and mounted. The air-spaced version can be used in high power Lasers (e.g. for 1064nm YAG laser). They are very useful for imaging applications. Those with negative focal lengths can be used as Barlow lenses with telescope eyepieces. 3-element cemented achromats are used as high-powermagnifiers. Anti - Reflection CoatingsAll glass surfaces have some reflection depending on their refractive index. N-BK7 glass which is most widely used, has a refractive index of about 1.51 in the visible region of light, and reflects an average of 4.25% of the light incident on it. Materials with higher index reflect a greater percentage of light. Anti-reflection coatings (or ARC's) are used to reduce the reflection from the surface of the optics and thus increase the transmission. These coatings can be of single layer or multi-layer depending on the material to be coated and application. Beam Splitter Coatings
Bio Concave LensesBio Concave Lenses have two inward curved surfaces. They have negative focal length and are used similarly. They can either be symmetrical or asymmetrical. Bio Convex LensesThese lenses have two convex surfaces. They can be either symmetrical (both surfaces having the same radius) or asymmetrical (both surfaces having different radii). They have a positive focal length and converge light. Dichroic Filter CoatingsThese coatings seperate two wavelength regions, reflecting one and transmitting the other. Can be used for normal incidence or 45° incidence. Laser OpticsA lot of use of optics is related to lasers. There are many types of lasers being used, with different wavelengths. We can manufacture optics for any wavelength from 250nm to 1064nm. We can provide beam splitters, mirrors, output couplers, beam expanders, partial mirrors, focussing lenses. The optics will have high damage thresholds. The substrates have high degree of flatness and better surface quality as compared to standard optics. Meniscus LensesA Meniscus lens has one concave and convex surface. It can either have a positive or a negative focal length depending on the radii of the two surfaces. This lens can be used in combination with other lenses to increase or decrease the focal length of the system. Metal CoatingsCoating of metals like aluminum / silver / gold on the polished glass surface increases the reflection and are useful for many applications. These metals characteristically exhibit high reflection over very broad wavelength regions. MirrorsMirrors are used for reflecting the light in optical systems. They are can be designed for either normal or oblique angles of incidence and can be partial reflectors or high reflectors. They can have one curved surface or both plane surfaces also. Telescope mirrors are examples of aluminum coated mirrors. Dielectric coated mirrors can be used with lasers and a variety of applications. Neutral Density Filter CoatingsCoated Neutral density filters are spectrally more flat than absorbing type filters. They have front surface coating of Inconel or Nichrome. Available in different optical densities and can be grouped together to get diffrent densities. Optical LensesWe make all kinds of lenses up to Ø200mm. Also available with anti-reflection coatings. Lenses can be also be mounted as required. Optical AssembliesOptical assemblies are an integral part of any optical system. We have a fully equipped metal working shop including a CNC lathe machine from Hardinge, USA to give all kinds of optical mountings for our optics. We can make assemblies as per your specifications. Assemblies are done on Class 100 workstations in Class 10,000 clean room. Optical FlatsWe make Optical flats up to lambda/10 accuracy from Pyrex or Fused Silica. Plano Concave LensesThe name itself indicates that these lenses have one plane i.e. flat and one inward curved surface. They have a negative focal length & diverge light. They form only virtual images which are seen through the lens. They are useful to expand light beams or to increase focal length in an optical system. PrismsPrisms play an important part in any optical system. Their main function is to deviate the beam of light in a different direction. They also considerably shorten the light path of an optical system and can invert and revert images, the reason for their being used in binoculars. They can break up the light into its constituent colors. They are available with anti-reflection coatings as well as other coatings as required. Prisms can be made to high degrees of angular accuracy. Windows Optical ElementsWindows are optical elements having where both the surfaces are plane in nature. We can manufacture windows up to 200mm in size. Windows can be coated with anti-reflection coating which increases the transmission. They can be of general grade, just being optically polished or precision grade, with control on the parallelism and flatness. We can manufacture windows with parallelism of less than 5 seconds between the surfaces and with flatness up to lambda/10 depending on the size and thickness. We also supply windows as thin as 0.1mm. |
