About UsKumar Agro Food Products was started in the year 1997 by Smt. Alaknanda Kumar, a highly qualified techno-commercial second generation entrepreneur (with an M.Com, L.LB and a diploma in Food Processing) who wanted to give a scientific touch to the traditional art of making Pickles, Chutneys & Sauces.
This sole proprietorship was subsequently taken over by Kumar Agro Foods Pvt. Ltd. in 2007, wherein Smt. Alaknanda Kumar was joined by Mr. Kamlesh Kumar who brought in his wide experience of accounts & administration.
The companys products (Royal Choice) are widely available at the leading stores of NCR Big Bazaar, Reliance Fresh etc. besides it is also into Private Labels - contract manufacturing V Fresh brand of pickles for Vishal Retail Ltd., Dadi Maas Pickle for Subiksha and Golden Flavourz for Home Stores (I) Ltd. Sab Ka Bazaar.
On account of the quality and acceptable taste, the companys product has found wanting taste buds not only in India, but across the seven seas as well. In the year 2001 the company entered into the very competitive export market and today the people from Canada, UK, Middle-East (Private Label), Australia and New Zealand are relishing the mouth watering pickles and chutneys.
As a result of its consistent quality and reputation, the company was able to be assosciated with an NRI Mr. Raghubir Sahai, in 2009 who brought along 30 years of experience.
PACKING
The products are packed in glass/pet bottles of 200g, 400g, 500g, 1Kg (PET Bottle) & HDPE Jars of 2Kg, 5Kg, 25Kg, 35Kg etc.

MANUFACTURING
The raw fruits/vegetables are inspected and thoroughly washed before being cut into appropriate sizes and left for seasoning.
The stored raw material is continuously checked for bacterial or fungal development so that appropriate preventive measures can be taken.
The seasoned fruits are picked from the seasoning tanks and the best of pure aromatic spices along with oil is added, based on the traditional recepies that have been handed down through the ages, to make the mouth watering products which are then packed. The entire manufacturing process is completed with maximum automation and minimal physical contact.
The company pays special emphasis on maintaining the highest quality, under the most hygienic conditions. The R & D section undertakes shelf life studies, organoleptic evaluation and quality control using GMP and TQM for each production batch. |
