Guru Machine Company was founded by S. Joginder Singh Ji in the year 1958. He did his humble beginning with the launching of overlock machines. It was the first such machine made in India at that time. Then follows the launching of bag closing machines in the year 1965. Very soon these machines were selling all over India. Next milestone arrived in the year 1977 when Guru Machine Company started selling these machines in international market. The machines were sold in Spain, France, U.K., Holland, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
The research did not stop here. It went in relentlessly by research and development of Guru Sewing Machines and new products were added to its existing range products which include jute/ HDPT bag closing machines, carpet over edging machine, blanket whipping machines, button pressing machines. The research for new product development did not stop here too. Latest in the series of development of new products is reversible machine which again the first in India to be manufactured by relentlessly efforts of the engineers of R & D department Guru Machine Company still looking forward for bringing new products in the millennium.
