The story of Pankaj Steel goes back to 1968 ¿ the year in which it was established. Today, with over four decades of experience behind it, the group is a well-established, highly respected business conglomerate with business interests covering a spectrum of manufacturing and trading activities.
In 1991, the group entered the arena of steel manufacturing with the acquisition of Pankaj Steel Ltd. - a modern steel plant located near Bangalore. After the acquisition, Argee Steel saw a new era of growth and expansion, with complete modernization and introduction of the latest technologies in steel production. Under the dynamic leadership of Ramavar Garg, the company grew from strength to strength and also invested in a new integrated production plant spread over 90 acres at our site, near Bangalore. Today, Argee Steel has a production capacity of over 2,92,000 metric tones of steel in various forms.
