Founded in 1965 by mr kg govindarajulu, a teacher in a technical institue, metal forms is now evolved into a ts 16949 and ISO 9001 certified company.
Metal forms is currently headed by the founders grandsons mr rajiv parthasarathy (engineering grad from university of illionois) and mr arjun parthasarathy (marketing and finance grad from northwestern university, evanston, illinois.

It have 3 facilities in india (2 in chennai, tamilnadu and 1 in alwar, rajasthan) which have complete manufacturing facilities like shearing, punching machines from amada, press brakes, hydraulic and mechanical presses upto 500 tons, mig welding, tig welding, argon welding, spot welding, shot blasting and powder coating / baking. All facilities have tool manuafacturing machines like lathes, milling, planing, surface grinding, horizontal boring, honing, shaping etc.

Quality is the calling card for Metal Forms Private Limited. It have a very strong Quality Department who are keenly involved in Mistake Proofing activities, rather than only inspection activities. Company have been ISO 9001 certified since 2000 and it have recently completed the first TS 16949 audit. It also working towards being ISO 14001 certified in the coming few months to project the environment friendly manufacture.

Unit 1 - 4.5 acres Land and 40,000 sq.ft building with 2 eot cranes of 5 tons capacity spanning 60 ft width and running a length of 400 feet. This facility in 20 kms from Chennai Port and 20 Kms from Chennai Central Railway Station on National Highway 5 in the state of Tamilnadu. Unit 2 - 4 acres land and 4 buildings of total 40,000 sq.ft. This facility is 4 kms past Unit 1 in Chennai, State of Tamilnadu. Unit 3 - 2 acres land and 26,000 sq.ft building with 2 EOT cranes of 5 tons capacity in Alwar, State of Rajasthan. This facility is about 160 kms from New Delhi Internationsl Airport.
