Spastwadi Sahyogi Maitri Sangh (SSMS) is an autonomous Non-government organization established in the year 1993 and registered on July 6, 1995 and also registered under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) with Ministry of Home affairs, Government of India. It is also an approved organization under section 12 (A) & 80G of Income Tax Department. As the name suggests this is a work-oriented organization for over-all and sustainable development of human mankind along with nature.
Late Shivanand Thakur (1936-1998) the spiritual soul with a modern vision had such Great influence of the Yogda Satsang Society founded by Shri Paramhanse Yoganandaji that he Was always dreaming of a world based on tolerance and universal brotherhood. Administrative service which he formally belonged to, offered great opportunity to undertake positive initiatives and see how human initiatives and virtues could be undertaken for positive service, and try and see how human natives and virtues could be fruitfully brought together into a synergetive mode. He accomplished commendable feats during his lifetime and had the support of the cordial friends and followers to carry out his mission of bringing friends together and work for a heavenly world- a world in which compassion should precede hatred and despise and fellow feeling should come before selfish individual interests.
