at daman. The company has been promoted by reputed business house
of R.H.j group Who are in the non ferrous metal line for the last fifty five years. The group consists of number of industries and non ferrous metal importers, exporters and stockists with group turnover of rs.143 crores. per annum and the turnover is expected to reach rs.160 crores next year. Plant And turnover Is: The group is also setting up a unit for manufacture of aluminum extrusion at silvassa and it is expected to commence production in the year 2009. R.H.J. EXTRUSION PVT.LTD. commenced production as an important manufacturer in the field of copper and copper based alloy extrusion in the country. The plant and machinery has been laid out over a built up area of 50000 sq.feet. it has built a team of around 100 workers including 4 plant managers. 10 supervisors and 15 technicians. The production capacity of 350 tons brass and copper rods per month and the annual turnover of the group is expected to be 160 crores. for the year 2008/09. The company has complete modern plant and equipment right from melting to finishing i.e. induction type 3 electric melting furnaces and oil fired furnaces for the manufacture of various alloys of required specifications and 3 metal extrusion process 2x600 tons , 1x1200 tons capacity. A 600 MT. Capacity horizontal, four column prestretched tie rod, hydraulically driven, electrically controlled copper-brass extrusions press and other allied equipment is installed at Daman alongwith 1200 ton extrusion press and to other extrusion for manufacture for brass rods, copper pipes and brass pipes(with piecer arrangement suitable for copper-brass rod, solid and hollow section and tube extrusion) and draw benches , a chemical laboratory for testing of materials which at ever stage of processing , checks and rechecks the materials for any faults and defaults, which guarantees wit certainty products of the finest quality. The laboratory also has testing facilities for the physical properties of the material with the latest testing equipment.
