Having established Polyplastics in 1967, we are now an ISO-14001/TS-16949 company. In the very first year of our inception, we started manufacturing special spacers for coaxial telecommunication cables according to the specifications of Standard Telephone and Cables Ltd., London. Initially, we were actively supported by the UN-aided tool room of SISI in the development of our tools and dies. Our very first component was so well received by Indian manufacturers of coaxial cables that we offered this component to thier original collaborators STC, London.

They were equally satisfied with the characteristics and performance, and recommended our name to many of their licensees in Europe. Thus, we started exporting the components to Finland, Austria, Italy and the UK, maintaining a monopoly for several years. This development has since won us an import-substitution award in 1987.

Polyplastics diversified into other fields of activities and developed several components for Indian Telephone, Textile, Defense and Refrigerator Industries. Since the year 1983 the activities of the company are mainly concentrated on the automobile industry. OEM's of highest repute such as Maruti Suzuki, TATA Motors, Toyota, General Motors, Ford, Honda, Fiat, Swaraj Mazda etc. are our esteemed customers. Based on the quality of our products & services, General Motors recommended our name for Global Sourcing.
