Surekas group had started their journey as service providers to exporters and importers of Bhadohi, Khamaria, Mirzapur, Ludhiana, Amritsar, Panipat, Delhi & Mumbai, through liasoning with import export control organizations, customs, reserve bank etc., since August 1976, from their native town 'Mirzapur', in Uttar Pradesh, India, with offices at Delhi & Mumbai looked after by other members of the family. The group feels proud in attaining reasonably good business heights, during their journey of 30 years.

After establishing a strong foothold as service providers, the organisation decided for the diversifications and expansion plans and have successfully added new businesses through FIRMS & Companies namely Abhishek Enterprises, Ruchi Enterprises, Sureka International, Global Floor Furnishers, Cosmic Rubbers Pvt. Ltd., and a closely held PUBLIC LIMITED COMPANY named Namarata Agrotech Ltd., at new locations Kolkata, Ludhiana, Varanasi & Jaipur.

The Annual Turnover of the group has crossed 110 crores of Rupees. We have target of Rs.150 crores, by 2007-08 end.


The details of the major additional activities already started by the group are:

a. Through Abhishek Enterprises & Ruchi Enterprises, Trading in Export Promotion Licences
b. ?Manufacturers, exporters and suppliers of Hand made Carpets / Rugs / Mats / Druggets / Floor coverings of all types under their sub-unit naming GLOBAL FLOOR FURNISHERS?
c. Outsourcing Natural Dyed Products in wool, cotton and silk.
d. Real Estate Development: The group has already developed one Township named "SUREKA PURAM"& one colony named "SUREKA ESTATE" in Mirzapur (U.P.), India



The Group is considering, very actively to go for following additional activities in 2006-2007:-

a. Setting up of Agro-Tourism Park (A new Concept) on a composite hilly plot of 938 acres, in Mirzapur(U.P.), India, an innovative project having potential of providing direct and indirect employment to the extent of more than 1 crore man days per annum and lot of revenues to the Central, State and Local Self Govts., besides adding to the green cover (the most desired item in the present days) & One Bio-diesel Plant, through Namarata Agrotech Ltd. & Cosmic Rubbers Pvt. b. Setting of a Modern tissue culture Nursery, under the name and style of Sureka Centre for Bio-Technology at Sureka Gram, Mirzapur(U.P.), India
