Mustard learned that Indian women were not satisfied with the western fits in the market. Women tend to be most particular about the fitting; design and style come next, followed by fabric and color. So the company came up with customized fits for Indian women.

Our research indicated that ''fit anxiety'' is the biggest issue in the category, as there was a paucity of that in the readymade category. Fit with comfort is our biggest USP.

Our recent study indicated that working women are increasingly gravitating toward western wear for greater comfort and style; fusion wear a blend of Indian fabric and western styling. Its shoppers favour understated styling and fabrics.

We believe that there is a greater acceptance of western formal wears in the workplace than a sari today.
