| ProductsBall Roller Bearings![]() The Ball Roller Innovation We’ve slimmed the ball down. What is the streamlined ball roller capable of? The ball roller bearing, a new and promising rolling bearing series, has been developed 100 years after the invention of the ball bearing and 50 years after volume production readiness of the needle roller bearing. Self Aligning Ball Bearings![]() Self-aligning ball bearings are double row, self-retaining units comprising solid outer rings with a concave raceway, inner rings with a cylindrical or tapered bore and ball and cage assemblies. The bearings are available in open and sealed versions. Aligning Needle Roller Bearings![]() Aligning needle roller bearings are units comprising drawn outer cups, plastic support rings with a concave inner profile, outer rings with a spherical outside surface, needle roller and cage assemblies and removable inner rings. The bearings can compensate static shaft misalignment and can thus tolerate misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing. Aligning needle roller bearings are firmly seated in the housing bore. The bore can therefore be produced easily and economically. X-life Aligning needle roller bearings are X-life bearings. In these bearings, the roughness and geometrical accuracy of the raceways have been optimized. This gives higher load carrying capacity and longer life. Combined Needle Roller Bearings![]() Combined needle roller bearings are units comprising radial needle roller bearings with a rolling bearing component capable of supporting axial loads. X-life Combined needle roller bearings are X-life bearings. In these bearings, the roughness and geometrical accuracy of the raceways have been optimized. This gives higher load carrying capacity and longer life. Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearings![]() Drawn cup needle roller bearings with open ends and with closed end are units comprising thin-walled drawn outer rings and needle roller and cage assemblies. Drawn cup need roller bearings with open ends are also available in full complement versions. The majority of the bearings are single row designs. Drawn cup needle roller bearings with open ends and with closed end are available in open and sealed versions.Due to the thin-walled outer drawn cup and the absence of an inner ring, drawn cup needle roller bearings with open ends and with close end have an extremely low radial section height. They have very high load carrying capacity, are suitable for high speeds and can be easily fitted. If shoulders, snap rings etc. are not used for axial location, the housing bore can be produced easily and particularly economically. Needle Ribs Roller Bearings![]() Needle roller bearings are single or double row units comprising machined outer rings with ribs, needle roller and cage assemblies and removable inner rings. The bearings are available in open and sealed versions. X-life Needle roller bearings with ribs are X-life bearings. In these bearings, the roughness and geometrical accuracy of the raceways have been optimized. This gives higher load carrying capacity and longer life. Needle Roller & Cage Assemblies![]() Needle roller and cage assemblies are single or double row units comprising cages and needle rollers. If the raceways are produced to high geometrical accuracy, bearing arrangements with high runout accuracy can be achieved. The radial internal clearance can be influenced by the needle roller sort and by the shaft and housing tolerance. Needle roller and cage assemblies require a hardened and ground raceway on the shaft and in the housing. Axial Bearing Washer![]() Axial bearing washers Axial bearing washers are punched, through hardened and polished and can be used as shaft or housing locating washers. These washers are suitable if the adjacent machine part is unhardened but is sufficiently rigid and geometrically accurate. Linear Ball Bearing Units![]() Linear guidance systems with linear recirculating ball bearing units comprise ball bearing units, carriages and guide ways. They allow large support distances, have adjustable clearance and are to standard accuracy class G3. The full complement bearing units run on one or both sides of the guide ways and, despite their small dimensions, have high load carrying capacity. If the bearing units are screw mounted in carriages, together with the guide ways they form four-row linear recirculating ball bearing and guide way assemblies. The ball bearing units are sealed on all sides by the wipers on the end faces and on the sealing strips which form a gap seal in conjunction with the guide way. Linear recirculating ball bearing units can be re lubricated. The carriages comprise an anodised aluminium body and two linear recirculating ball bearing units. The carriage has two T-slots for fixing to the adjacent construction. The clearance can be adjusted by means of three screws on the side of the carriage; the screws press on the back of the bearing unit. The guideways are available with raceways on one or both sides. They are made from hardened steel and ground on all sides. Radial Insert Ball Bearings![]() Radial insert ball bearings are single row, rad-to-fit units comprising a solid outer ring, an inner ring extended on one or both sides, cages made from plastic or sheet steel and P,R,L or T seals.Bearings with an inner ring extended on both sides undergo less tilting of the inner ring and therefore run more smoothly. The outer ring has a crowned or cylindrical outside surface. In conjunction with an INA housing matched to the bearing type, bearings with a crowned outside surface compensate for shaft misalignment;see Compensation of misalignment. They are located on the shaft by means of an eccentric locking collar, grub screws in the inner ring, an adapter sleeve, drive slot or fit. Radial insert ball bearings are particularly easy to fit, suitable for drawn shafts of grade h6 to h9 and, with a few exceptions, can be re lubricated. Some series with an eccentric locking collar and with grub screws in the inner ring are also available with an inch size bore. Metal Polymer Composite Plain Bearings![]() Schrieffer Group Industrial has brought a new metal-polymer composite plain bearing onto the market under its INA brand. It replaces the standard Permalloy® plain bearing previously used. The new INA metal-polymer composite plain bearings enable economical solutions in many industrial and automotive applications. They are particularly effective with oscillating movements and achieve a rating life several times higher than that of bearings with conventional materials. In addition, all our new plain bearings are lead-free and, therefore, environmentally friendly. Different innovative materials ensure unprecedented variety. A selection of bearings with maintenance-free and low-maintenance materials are available under the designations E40 and E50. Their structures are basically identical: A porous bronze-sintered structure is applied to a steel or bronze backing and impregnated with a special plastic compound. The solid lubricants produce a lubricant film between the sliding surfaces, which provides low-noise operation with constantly low friction values throughout the entire service life. The customer can thus select a product with optimal material characteristics for every application. Slewing Rings![]() INA slewing rings are known worldwide as premium products in the field of rolling bearing technology. These machine elements have proved themselves many times over, have high load carrying capacity, a versatile range of applications and are highly cost-effective. Due to their design, a single bearing can reliably support radial, axial and tilting moment loads. It is therefore possible in many cases to replace bearing arrangements comprising a combination of radial and axial bearings by a single bearing. This reduces, in some cases considerably, the costs and work required in the design of the adjacent construction and the fitting of bearings. Slewing rings are sealed on both sides, lubricated with a high quality grease, can be relubricated via lubrication nipples and are particularly easy to fit. The bearing rings are supplied without gear teeth or, in order to achieve simple drive solutions, are available with external or internal gear teeth. Axial Radial Bearings![]() Axial/radial bearings and axial angular contact ball bearings are ready-to-fit high precision bearings for high precision applications with combined loads. They can support radial loads and axial loads from both sides as well as tilting moments and are particularly suitable for bearing arrangements with high requirements for running accuracy, for example in rotary tables, face plates, milling heads and reversible clamps. Due to the fixing holes in the bearing rings, the units are very easy to fit.The bearings are radially and axially preloaded after fitting. Tapered Roller Bearings![]() Tapered roller bearings comprise solid inner and outer rings with tapered raceways and tapered rollers with cages. The bearings are not self-retaining.As a result, the inner ring together with the rollers and cage can be fitted separately from the outer ring. Tapered roller bearings can support axial loads from one direction as well as high radial loads. They must normally be axially adjusted against a second bearing fitted in a mirror image arrangement. X-life We are offering our proven catalog series in X-life quality. The geometry, surfaces and materials were optimized. Thus FAG Tapered Roller Bearings X-life offer an increase in the basic dynamic load ratings (Cr) of up to 20 % compared to previous designs, an increase in the basic rating life of approximately 70 % under the same operating conditions und up to 75 % less friction.A convincing advantage of X-life are product characteristics that provide you with new design perspectives, for example, to design particularly low-noise or high load capacity systems solutions. Bearing Housings![]() FAG bearing housings are predominantly made from flake graphite cast iron. Housings made from cast steel and spheroidal graphite cast iron can be supplied by agreement.Since the bearings are normally lubricated with grease and the initial charge is effective for a long period, most housings do not have re lubrication holes. However, gates or marks are present so that lubrication holes can be made if required. When re lubrication is carried out, it must be ensured that excess grease can escape. The bearing seats in the housing are generally machined such that the bearings are movable and can thus act as non-locating bearings.Locating bearing arrangements can be achieved by inserting locating rings if these are listed in the tables. Locating rings must be ordered specifically. Housings without locating rings are supplied in a non-locating bearing version (L) or a locating bearing version (F). All machined outer surfaces of FAG housings and housing parts have a universal coat of paint (color RAL 7031, bluish Grey). The paint can be covered by all resin, polyurethane, acrylic, epoxy resin, chlorine rubber, cellulose and acid-hardening hammer Grey enamels. The anti-corrosion protection of the machined inner and outer surfaces can be easily removed. Depending on the operating conditions, contact seals, non-contact seals and combination thereof are available for sealing of bearing housings, see the schematics. Housing Units![]() INA housing units are available in many different designs as plummet block, flanged and take-up housing units. The ready-to-fit units comprise INA cast iron or INA sheet steel housings in which the INA radial insert ball bearings are integrated. In order to ensure correct function and operational reliability in all operating conditions, the bearing and housing are matched to each other. Due to the spherical outside surface of the bearing outer ring and the spherical housing bore, INA housing units can compensate for static angular misalignment of the shaft; see Compensation of misalignment. The units are used predominantly as locating bearings, but can also be used as non-locating bearings under low loads and speeds. The housings are screw mounted on the adjacent construction. Less demanding tolerances are sufficient for the screw mounting surfaces. Axial Spherical Roller Bearings![]() Axial spherical roller bearings are single row, self-aligning roller bearings. They comprise solid shaft and housing washers and asymmetrical barrel rollers with cages. The cage holds the roller and cage assembly together with the shaft locating washer. The bearings can be dismantled. The parts of the bearings can be fitted separately. Axial spherical roller bearings can support very high axial loads and permit relatively high speeds. Since the raceways are at an angle to the bearing axis, the bearings can also support radial loads. Spherical Roller Bearings![]() Spherical roller bearings are double row, self-retaining units comprising solid outer rings with a concave raceway, solid inner rings and barrel rollers with cages. The inner rings with cylindrical or tapered bores. The symmetrical barrel rollers freely align themselves to the concave outer ring raceway. As a result, shaft deflections and misalignment of the bearing seats are compensated. X-life Many sizes of spherical roller bearings are supplied in X-life design. These bearings do not have a central rib on the inner ring so longer barrel rollers can be fitted; improved kinematics, optimized surfaces and even higher performance materials are possible. As a result, the bearings show a significant increase in the basic dynamic load rating and, under the same operating conditions,in the basic rating life.In certain applications,a smaller design of bearing arrangement can therefore be used if necessary. Axial Cylindrical Roller Bearings![]() Axial cylindrical roller bearings Axial cylindrical roller bearings comprise axial cylindrical roller and cage assemblies and shaft and housing locating washers. Cylindrical Roller Bearings![]() Cylindrical roller bearings. Linear Rolling & Plain Bearings![]() Linear Rolling & Plain Bearings Miniature Plain Guidance Systems![]() Miniature linear plain guidance systems are ready-to-fit, maintenance-free guidance systems. They have good sliding characteristics, are suitable for dry running, have adjustable clearance and are highly resistant to chemical influences. In terms of design space, miniature plain guidance systems have the same mounting dimensions as miniature linear recirculating ball bearing and guideway assemblies. The units are produced in various carriage sizes and guideway lengths, giving cost-effective designs. Miniature linear plain guidance systems are linear locating bearings with at least one carriage. They can support forces from all directions – apart from the direction of motion – and moments about all axes, operate largely free from stick-slip, have low wear and are insensitive to contamination. Track Rollers![]() Track rollers are self-retaining, single or double row units with particularly thick-walled outer rings. These bearings can support axial forces in both directions as well as high radial forces. The bearing outer rings have a crowned or cylindrical outside surface. Designs with a crowned outside surface are used where there is misalignment in relation to the raceway and edge stresses must be avoided. The track rollers are available with an inner ring, with a stud and with a plastic Tyre on the outer ring.
Linear Roller Bearings![]() Linear roller bearings are suitable in conjunction with guide ways for locating/locating or locating/non-locating bearing arrangements and form a bearing arrangement system for linear motion with unlimited stroke length. In closed arrangements, they can support loads from all directions and moments about all axes. Their load carrying capacity is extremely high and the space required is very small. The guidance systems can be preloaded by adjusting gins and have extremely high rigidity when preloaded. Since the guidance elements have a versatile range of possible arrangements, linear recirculating roller guidance systems are suitable for numerous applications in general machine building, especially for linear guidance systems in machine tools where high guidance and positioning accuracies are required over long traverse distances. The range is supplemented by adjusting gibs for precise setting of the reload, setting devices for measuring the deformation of the adjacent construction where reload forces must be supported and adapters for easy mounting of the linear roller bearings in a 45° arrangement. Barrel Roller Bearings![]() Barrel roller bearings are single row,self-aligning roller bearings. They comprise solid outer rings with a concave raceway, solid inner rings with two ribs and a cylindrical or tapered bore and barrel rollers with cages. The bearings cannot be dismantled. Barrel roller bearings are particularly suitable where high radial shock type loads occur and misalignment must be compensated, see Compensation of angular misalignment.Their axial load carrying capacity is small. Linear Tables![]() Linear tables are used where larger masses are to be moved in one or more axes. Due to the large distances between support points, these linear tables are also capable of supporting high torques. The guidance systems used are linear ball bearings or linear recirculating ball bearing and guide way assemblies. Linear tables are available without drive or with ball screw drive, trapezoidal lead screw drive or direct drive. The range of driven linear units is complemented by controllers, motors and gearboxes which are specifically matched to each other for optimum performance. Spindle Bearings![]() Spindle bearings are single row angular contact ball bearings comprising solid inner and outer rings and ball and cage assemblies with solid window cages. They cannot be dismantled. The bearings are available in open and sealed versions. Spindle bearings have restricted tolerances. They are particularly suitable for bearing arrangements with very high requirements for guidance accuracy and speed capacity. They have proved highly suitable for the bearing arrangements of spindles in machine tools Drawn Cup Roller Clutches![]() Drawn cup roller clutches are one-way clutches comprising thin-walled, drawn outer rings with a series of ramps on the inside diameter, plastic cages, springs and needle rollers. They can transmit torques in one direction and are radially compact. The roller clutches are available with and without a bearing assembly. Drawn cup roller clutches give very precise indexing, since individual spring retention of each needle roller ensures constant contact between the shaft, needle rollers and the clamping surfaces. They allow high indexing frequencies due to their low mass and therefore the low moment of inertia of the clamping elements. They also have a low free-wheeling frictional torque. Drawn cup roller clutches can be used in a wide variety of applications, for example as indexing elements, back-stopping clutches or overrunning clutches. The drawn cup roller clutch fulfils the overrunning or holding function as appropriate. Miniature Ball Monorail Guidance Systems![]() Two-row miniature linear recirculating ball bearing and guide way assemblies These guidance systems are preloaded linear locating bearings for limited and unlimited stroke lengths. These have moderate load carrying capacity and moderate to high moment load carrying capacity. Due to the modular concept, guide ways and carriages can be interchanged within one interchangeability and accuracy class. This gives easier fitting of guidance systems, easier sourcing of replacement parts and allows very economical stock holding. The saddle plates and guideways are corrosion-resistant. Seals on the end faces of the carriages protect the rolling element system against contamination. The carriages are greased and can be relubricated. The guideways and carriages are also available in a wide version. Four-row miniature linear recirculating ball bearing and guide way assemblies Four-row miniature linear recirculating ball bearing and guide way assemblies are ready-to-fit guidance systems for unlimited stroke lengths. They have high to very high load carrying capacity and rigidity. The saddle plates and guide ways are corrosion-resistant. Seals on the end faces of the carriages protect the rolling element system against contamination.Due to the lubricant reservoir, the re lubrication intervals can be extended. The carriages are greased and can be re lubricated. Sealing Rings![]() Sealing rings are designed as contact seals. They protect the bearing position against contaminants, spray water and excessive loss of grease. The sealing rings are matched to the small radial dimensions of drawn cup needle roller bearings and needle roller bearings. They are very easy to fit, since they are simply pressed into the housing bore. Sealing rings allow circumferential speeds at the seal lip of up to 10 m/s, dependent on the surface quality of the shaft. Miniature Cage Guidance Systems![]() Miniature carriage units Miniature carriage units with cylindrical roller flat cages are corrosion-resistant, ready-to-fit cage guidance systems for limited stroke lengths. They have a high load carrying capacity, high rigidity and high accuracy whilst requiring very little space. Due to their compact design, they can often be used to replace guidance systems that require significantly more space. The units are produced in numerous carriage and guideway lengths, giving cost-effective designs. Miniature carriage units are linear locating bearings. They can support forces from all directions – apart from the direction of motion – and moments about all axes, are more rigid than linear recirculating ball bearing and guideway assemblies and run very smoothly and accurately. The units are particularly suitable for short stroke lengths, low-friction movements, oscillating movements and high loads with high rigidity. Their preferred areas of use include medical equipment, electrical engineering, robotics and laboratory equipment as well as applications under clean room conditions. Miniature linear guidance sets Miniature linear guidance sets with cylindrical roller flat cages are corrosion-resistant, ready-to-fit locating bearings for limited stroke lengths and are preloaded once fitted. These linear guidance systems have high load carrying capacity, high rigidity and high accuracy whilst requiring very little space. Since the distance between the guidance elements can be varied in design, the elements can be easily matched to predetermined adjacent constructions. The sets are supplied in many different lengths for specific applications. The sets are particularly suitable for short stroke lengths, low-friction movements, oscillating movements and high loads with high rigidity. Four Point Contact Bearings![]() Four point contact bearings are single row angular contact ball bearings and therefore require significantly less space in an axial direction than double row designs. The bearings comprise solid outer rings, split inner rings and ball and cage assemblies with brass or poly amide cages. Due to the two-piece inner rings,a large number of balls can be accommodated. The halves of the inner ring are matched to the specific bearing and must not be interchanged with those of bearings of the same size. The outer ring with the ball and cage assembly can be fitted separately from the halves of the inner ring. Axial Deep Groove Ball Bearings![]() Axial deep groove ball bearings comprise shaft locating washers, housing locating washers and ball and cage assemblies. The bearings are not self-retaining; the ball and cage assembly and bearing washers can therefore be fitted independently of each other. In addition to series with flat washers, there are also series with spherical housing locating washers for compensation of static misalignment. These designs are normally used in conjunction with support washers.Axial deep groove ball bearings are available in single and double direction designs. Both designs can support high axial forces but must not be subjected to radial loads. Seal Carrier Assemblies & Precision Locknuts![]() Seal carrier assemblies DRS are screwed to the center washer of needle roller/axial cylindrical roller bearings and precisely centered there. They seal the bearings from the outside. The sealing elements are supplied as a complete set and comprise a seal carrier with an integral rotary shaft seal, a gasket and socket head cap screws for mounting the carrier on the center washer of the bearing. Roller Monorail Guidance Systems![]() Tinea recirculating roller bearing and guide way assemblies RUE are, due to the use of cylindrical rollers, the INA monorail guidance systems with the highest load carrying capacity and rigidity. They comprise at least one carriage with a full complement roller system, a guide way, integrated elastic wipers on the end faces of the carriage, sealing strips on the upper and lower faces of the carriage and closing plugs to close off the fixing holes in the guide-way. The carriage and guide way of a linear recirculating roller bearing and guide way assembly are matched to each other as a standard system due to their closely tolerances reload. It may be possible, after consultation, to use carriages and guide ways in different combination. Linear recirculating roller bearing and guide way assemblies are suitable for accelerations up to 100 m/s2, speeds up to 180 m/min and operating temperatures from –10 °C to +100 °C. They are used in applications with long unlimited stroke lengths, high and very high loads and high to very high rigidity. Shaft Guidance Systems![]() Shaft guidance systems or ball-based or plain linear guidance systems for various areas of use and applications.Linear ball bearings are available as a light range, compact range and heavy range. Mating tracks can be solid shafts, hollow shafts or supported shaft and rail units. The range is rounded off by a large selection of linear ball bearing and housing units and linear plain bearing and housing units. In this case, the linear ball bearings or linear plain bearings are supplied already mounted in ready-to-fit housings. A large number of shafts (with or without machined features), shaft and support rail units and comprehensive accessories allow a broad spectrum of applications. Crossed Roller Bearings![]() Crossed roller bearings are bearings for precision applications that correspond in their dimensions to ISO dimension series 18 in accordance with DIN 616.They comprise outer rings, inner rings, rolling elements and plastic spacers. The outer ring is split and is held together by three retaining rings. Due to the X arrangement of the rolling elements, these bearings can support axial forces from both directions as well as radial forces, tilting moment loads and any combination of loads with a single bearing position. This allows designs with two bearing positions to be reduced to a single bearing position.Crossed roller bearings are very rigid, have high running accuracy and are supplied with normal clearance, little clearance or reload. The bearing outer rings can be easily located in the adjacent construction by means of clamping rings. Roller Chain Idler Sprocket Units![]() Roller chain idler sprocket units INA roller chain idler sprocket units are chain guidance and return units for roller bush chains and roller chains. They compensate chain stretch resulting from operation and improve the smoothness of running of the system at high loads and speeds. The ready-to-fit units comprise chain sprockets and deep groove ball bearings. The chain sprockets are made from high strength steel, sintered iron or plastic (polyamide). Chain sprockets made from plastic give especially smooth and quiet operation. Since the inner ring of the deep groove ball bearing is extended on both sides, no additional spacer rings are necessary. In series KSR..BO, the inner ring is locating on the shaft by means of a locking collar. The bearing bore of this series has a plus tolerance. As a result, unmachined shafts up to ISO tolerance h9 can be used under moderate loads and speeds. Track Rollers![]() Yoke type track rollers Yoke type track rollers are single or double row units fitted on studs. They comprise thick-walled outer rings with a profiled outside surface and needle roller and cage assemblies or full complement sets of cylindrical or needle rollers. Yoke type track rollers can support high radial loads and axial loads arising from misalignment and skewed running and are suitable for cam drives, slideways, conveying equipment etc. The bearings are available with or without an inner ring as well as in open and sealed versions. Stud type track rollers Stud type track rollers comprise thick-walled outer rings with a profiled outside surface, solid roller studs with a locating thread, thrust washers and needle roller and cage assemblies or single or double row full complement sets of cylindrical or needle rollers. They can support high radial loads and axial loads arising from misalignments and skewed running and are suitable for cam drives, sideways, conveying equipment etc. The bearings are available in several designs and with or without an eccentric.
Axial Angular Contact Ball Bearings![]() Double direction axial angular contact ball bearings are non self-retaining precision bearings with restricted tolerances to class SP.They comprise solid shaft locating washers, spacer rings, housing locating washers and ball and cage assemblies with solid brass cages. The parts of the bearings are matched to each other and can be fitted independently of each other; they must not be interchanged with those of bearings of the same size. Axial & Radial Measuring System Bearings![]() Axial/radial bearings with integral measuring system comprise:
Track Roller Guidance Systems![]() Track roller guidance systems are linear guidance systems that can be compiled according to a modular concept for a wide variety of applications. Due to their lightweight construction, they are highly suitable for use in handling systems. They are particularly characterized by quiet running, high traverse speeds, long displacement distances and the modular concept. Carriages Track roller guidance systems comprise one or more aluminum carriages, profiled track rollers and a straight or curved guide way. Carriages are available as hollow section carriages, open carriages, compact carriages and bogie type carriages for curved, oval and circular guidance systems. Guide way Guide ways consist of an aluminum rail with shafts made from rolling bearing steel rolled into the sides. The guide ways are available in many different designs, e.g. guide ways with a solid profile, hollow section guide ways, flat guide ways, guideways with a slot etc. Selection depends on the purpose to which the track roller guidance system will be put. Inner Rings![]() Inner rings are made from hardened rolling bearing steel and have precision machined or ground raceways. They are used where:
Inner rings, precision machined In inner rings IR, the raceway is precision machined. Chamfers on the end faces allow easy insertion into the bearings and prevent damage to the seal lips of the bearings. The inner rings are available with and without a lubrication hole. Inner rings, ground In inner rings LR, the raceway is ground. The end faces are turned and the edges are broken. These rings have larger tolerances than the rings of series IR. They are therefore suitable for applications that permit larger tolerances for width and less demanding requirements for axial runout. Angled Flat Cage Guideways![]() The basic design comprises the M/V guide-way pair and angled flat cages containing needle rollers or cylindrical rollers and is a linear locating bearing. The guide ways are supplied in grades Q2, Q6 and Q10. The cages are made from metal or plastic. Metal cages are suitable for more demanding conditions such as high acceleration, high temperatures and where the ends of the cage are exposed at some point in operation. Plastic cages are particularly economical for simple operating conditions. Accessories include end pieces for the guide ways and wipers to protect the raceways against contamination. Ball Monorail Guidance Systems![]() Six-row linear recirculating ball bearing and guide way assemblies Six-row linear recirculating ball bearing and guide way assemblies KUSE are the ball-based guidance systems with the highest load carrying capacity and rigidity. They comprise at least one carriage with a full complement ball system, a guide way, integrated elastic wipers on the end faces of the carriage, sealing strips on the lower face of the carriage and plastic closing plugs. Linear recirculating ball bearing and guide way assemblies KUSE are suitable for accelerations up to 150 m/s2, speeds up to 300 m/min and operating temperatures from –10 °C to +100 °C.They are used in applications with long unlimited stroke lengths, high and very high loads and high to very high rigidity. Hydraulic Rod EndsHydraulic rod ends are fitted with radial spherical plain bearings GE..-LO or GE..-DO. They have a steel/steel sliding contact surface, can support radial forces in a tensile or compressive direction, transmit movements and forces with low moment levels and are suitable for alternating radial loads. The rod ends can be screwed into place by means of a thread in the shank or welded in place by means of round or square welding faces. Rod ends with a circular welding face have a 45º welding chamfer and a centring option by means of a concentric locating pin. They are particularly suitable for piston rods. Hydraulic rod ends with a square welding face are particularly suitable for cylinder bases. Up to d = 50 mm, the rod ends have a single slot in the shank; for d = 50 mm, they have a double slot in the shank and can be relubricated via taper type lubrication nipples. Maintenance Free Elges Rod EndsMaintenance-free rod ends comprise a housing with an integral shank and a maintenance-free spherical plain bearing. The housing with integral shank has an external or internal thread. The spherical plain bearing is firmly seated and located in the housing. Rod ends are protected against corrosion by a zinc plating. Rod ends can support radial forces in a tensile or compressive direction. They are suitable for slow movements with small to moderate swivel angles, for unilateral loads and in certain cases for alternating loads (in the case of GE..-UK-2RS, also for alternating loads). Sealed rod ends have lip seals on both sides and are thus protected against contamination and spray water. Rod ends to DIN ISO 12 240-4, series E, have radial spherical plain bearings GE..-UK or GE..-UK-2RS with a hard chromium/PTFE composite or hard chromium/ELGOGLIDE® sliding contact surface and a right hand or left hand internal or external thread. The thin walled design of the eye housing allows compact adjacent constructions. Rod ends to DIN ISO 12 240-4, series K, have radial spherical plain bearings GE..-PW with a steel/PTFE-bronze film sliding contact surface and a right hand or left hand internal or external thread. |
