VKC Nuts Pvt. Ltd., with a brand name VKC of Kashmir, is premier Nut & Dried Fruit company & one of the largest processors & exporters of Indian Walnuts & Morels with an ISO 9001-2000 & HACCP certified Processing Unit in Jammu J&K.
VKC has its roots in a modest trading co in Nuts and Dried fruits established in the year 1926 by the name "Hansraj Balwantrai" (Father & Son duo). In order to segregate export and domestic business, new company V.K. Chander Shekhar & Co. was established in the year 1977 to run concurrently with the parent company. Eventually both the companies were merged in the now operating entity "VKC Nuts Pvt Ltd". as a process of internal restructuring and to bring in more focus and professionalism in the company necessitated by the ambitious growth plans in hand. Present management constitutes two sons & two grandsons of our founder Late Lala Balwant Rai, all of whom are committed to the values and tradition inherited from the patriarch.
