Carina Fashion was formed in 1998 by its proprietor Mr. Alexander Anthony. The company is the result of his entrepreneurship efforts as earlier he was Production Controller 1988 : 1991), Buyer Agent and Quality Controller of a German Importer (1991 1997 ). The company now possesses a highly equipped unit making high styled leather goods.

The company is equipped with its own tannery and manufacturing unit primarily dealing in high-styled, quality conscious and trendy leather handbags and small leather goods. For supreme finishing the company uses sophisticated machines imported from Italy besides maintaining a stringent quality standard. The company produces quality goods with its own brand name and also that of its buyers.

The styling is exclusive and buyers samples as per specification is also undertaken. All embellishments are imported are imported from Hong Kong.

The company has an integrated setup and all aspects are closely scrutinized by the management. The company is currently under process for ISO 9001 : 2000 and SA8000 Certification. The current capacity of production is 50000 wallets and 8000 handbags per month. The style collection is changed twice a year for Spring Summer and Autumn Winter. The main market of export is Germany where it caters to departmental stores like Karstadt AG, Woolworth etc.
