BLOWER HOUSE –The role of Blower House in Blast Furnace is to generate  cold  blast through high speed blowers . In our case the blower house consists of 6nos .high pressure fans working in series (5 working and 1 standby). The blowers are state of art designed equipped with backward curved aerofoil impellers and 450kw ,2pole , 3.3kva,2980rpm,HT motors .The blowers are capable of  delivering 40,000 Nm3/ur  at 1.5kg/cm2 pressure.
