Vijay Chandarana, the founder of Shreeji Sales, belongs to the family which was engaged in the trade of Dry Fruits and Spices since 1912. His family business was among the first few business houses to start importing Dry Fruits in India, and since 1944 expanded into Homemade snacks and Dry Fruits mithais (sweets).
Vijay was involved in the family business upto his graduation after which he started his own transport business which became a leading name in transportation of Containers & HR Coils. Around 1995, he saw a great potential for ready to eat / cook, packaged food products, particularly FLAVOURED POPCORN which is very popular in USA, Europe but was not available in India. He visited USA and Africa and came back inspired. He formed a team of started manufacturing and marketing our now very popular TOP CORN brand of Popcorn Machines, Warmer and Combination units, FLAVOURED POPCORN and various Mixes, Seasoning and with our experience in food and spices trade and inhouse product development facilities, we have developed 24 flavors in Popcorn which has met with such a tremendous success that they ensure ever increasing crowds to our FLAVOURED POPCORN PARLOURS set up at the most strategic locations in Mumbai and some major cities in India.
We have met with such a tremendous success today, that we virtually have a wait list for supplying our world-class products to existing clients, who are the biggest names in Retail (Dept. Stores, Super Market Chains), Exhibitions (Theatres, Multiplexes) and Entertainment industry in India.We have thus established ourselves as pioneers and as yet the only leading and reputed name in the popcorn industry, to which we have given a totally new dimension and have also revolutionized the style and setup of selling popcorn in the country.Incidentally, we are the pioneers in introducing the concept of Warmer units in India, which keep the FLAVOURED POPCORN Hot and Crisp. We are probably the only manufacturers of 24 flavors of popcorn and Combination units (which combine a popcorn machine and a warmer in one compact unit) in the world.
