CHHABRA & CO., (C&C) was branched out in 1996 from family-owned Turnkey Construction company Shree Joints Internationale (P) Ltd. in which the President of the company was one of the Director's.

C&C is a professionally managed company in the field of civil engineering construction for all types of Projects - Residential, commercial, Institutional, Hotels & Infrastructure etc.

Key projects handled by the company (which has been in existence over past three decades) besides many others :

• Construction of Planetarium on Turnkey basis at Gorakhpur, U.P.,India in collaboration with M/S CARL ZEISS JENA GmbH of Germany. The project cost was approximately Rs.10 Crores (US$ 5 million) in the year 1989-92.
• Implementation of a large Project for the manufacture of 25 million sq. mts. of FLOAT GLASS costing approximately Rs. 200 Crores in the years 1983-87 (US$ 40 million) as the key co-ordinator & Promoter for the whole project. The project was jointly promoted by Uttar Pradesh Mineral Development Corporation & Foreign Promoters from Abu-Dhabi & Bahrain. Technology was successfully established by patent holders M/S PILKINGTON BROS. PLC of U.K., who also invested equity into the project.
• C&C had successfully collaborated with M/S TRANSSTROY CORPORATION of Moscow, Russia (which is one of the largest specialized companies for the design & construction of infrastructure sector projects such as Port building, Dredging works, Railways, Under-ground railway metro projects, Roads & Bridges etc.) to enter into infrastructure related construction projects. CHHABRA & CO., along-with M/S TANSSTROY CORPORATION had participated in number of prestigious large Infrastructure projects in India like construction of break water, dredging, bridges & Metro Rail projects etc.

With an extensive experience in the construction and infrastructure industry, the company decided to foray into building materials industry specifically into the field of natural stones like GRANITE, MARBLE & SANDSTONE.

Over the past couple of years, the company has been successfully exporting Natural Stone Slabs and Tiles to Asian Countries. This is a major focus area for the management and it views this as a major thrust area for growth.
