Srs die casting pvt ltd was started in 1985 by the current managing director, an engineering graduate from institute of technology, bhu-varanasi. After graduation he had a brief stint in a very large multinational engineering company siemens followed by a brief period of training in a pressure die casting unit in the u. K. In 1999 he was joined by his father (an iit kgp alumnus) who retired from a very large heavy engineering company as president and executive director. The unit was started for the manufacture of pressure die cast components for supply to large oems in the automotive and appliances sector of industry. The facilities and competence have been organized with the objective to give the oem customer as complete a component as they would like. It also have a very well equipped staffed (engineers) design section supported by latest software such as solidworks, del cam and die difice for optimizing the detailed design. All tool making is done in house. Mould bases are sourced from reputable manufacturers only. It have a pressure die casting shop with machine shop with 3 cnc vertical machining centres, cnc turning centre and conventional drilling & tapping machines.
