Certification ProcessQUESTIONNAIRE
Initially a questionnaire is asked from the organization to have the first hand information on type of activities carried out by the organization & number of employees.
This is required to ascertain the time required for auditing the organization. Also this information is required for ascertaining the competence requirements for the auditors.
QUOTATION
On the basis of information received in the form of completed questionnaire, a quotation is prepared and submitted to the client
organization. The Quotation are prepared on the basis of a uniform policy after deciding the efforts required to audit the organizat.
APPLICATION
After acceptance of the terms and conditions of the quotation, the client organization is supposed to submit the completed application for assessment along with the application fee. The receipt of application enables up to register the organization as our client. A unique Identification No. is allotted to every organization on receipt of application.
DOCUMENT REVIEW
The next step in the certification process is document review which is done to evaluate the adequacy of organization’s documented system vis-à-vis requirements of the standard of certification.
Document Review is conducted by the competent auditors. A formal report is prepared and submitted to the client organization for any corrective actions, as appropriate.
ON SITE ASSESSMENT
The audits findings are categorized into following grades:
- Major Non Compliances
- Minor Non Compliances
Any deficiency in the system which leads to non fulfillment of product requirement or adversely affects the customer satisfaction is graded as Major Non Compliance.
Any isolated case of deficiency in the system which does not affect the product conformity or customer satisfaction is graded as Minor Non Compliance. The certification decision is taken on the basis of criteria establishment for various management systems.
CERTIFICATION
Once any corrective have been completed, the next stage is presentation of the certificate. Clients often feel that this should be a celebration in view of all the hard work to date (We are always delighted to participate in any presentation that clients may wish to organize, distance and other commitments allowing).
SURVILLANCES
In order to verify the continuing compliance of activities of the client organization to the requirements, we conduct the surveillance audits periodically. Surveillance audits are conducted for selected areas; the selected areas are decided in a manner so that we verify each element of the standard at least once in a period of three years. Certain important areas are audited during each surveillance visit.
RE –CERTIFICATION
After three years, a re-certification audit takes place. As we have been working with you for the preceding period(s), the re-certification assessment is usually of a shorter duration and therefore of a lower cost.
