About UsGoodpack, a Singapore company provides a patented unique packaging alternative for bulk cargo to replace wooden boxes and metal drums for cost and environmental advantages. Goodpack India (Pvt). Ltd, a subsidiary company of Goodpack Limited, Singapore. We offer a Revolutionary and Innovative Packaging solutions to packers/Shippers for various industries segment all over the world.
Goodpack is in the business of Leasing Metal IBC (Intermediate Bulk Containers) which can easily replace current wooden / Plastic/ Steel Drum packing at a very competitive price and still offer various other benefits to the packers/Shippers and their respective clients.
We are a global company providing cost leading, innovative and creative IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container) supply chain solutions. We own and operate the world's largest fleet of over 2 million steel IBCs, each of which can hold 1.5 tons of goods, leased to MNCs in diverse industries including the rubber and tire, food and chemical industries.
With the IBCs returnable system, Goodpack is riding on the global environmental trend for waste minimization, unlike disposable packaging such as wooden pallets, paper cartons and single-use steel drums. The recent International Phytosanitary Measure (ISPM-15) regulation developed by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) also requires wood packaging material to be heat-treated or fumigated to prevent the infestation of larva. Based on the number of customers who have switched from wood to Goodpack IBC packaging.
It is estimated this amounts to a saving of more than 1 million tons of wood, worth approximately US$840 million.
The Goodpack IBC is environmentally friendly and fully recyclable with an average usable life of 16 to 20 years. At the end of its life cycle it can be scrapped to produce new steel based products. Every year Goodpack IBC fleet saves the equivalent of 4 milllion trees that need not to be harvested to make disposable IBCs. Over this period we ensure that regular maintenance is carried out on each Goodpack. It is checked, cleaned and returned to service. For customers, this reduces the need for additional handling, storage, and disposal costs that they have to directly cover. A Goodpack takes less than a minute to dis-assemble and stack ready for collection. The Goodpack is truly an ecological solution.
Our major customers include key tyre and automotive manufacturers, chemicals and juice producers, and general merchandisers. Goodpack IBCs are used in over 65 countries and more than 5000 locations worldwide, and our operations span the globe including Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, North and South America and Oceania. |
